π± This is what the barley sprout looks like on day 4.

π± This is what the barley sprout looks like on day 3.
There's definitely a noticeable difference between what it looked like on day 3 and what it looks like on day 4.
I placed the barley sprout on the porch so it could get some sunlight.
I can feel the growth of the barley sprout.

π± This photo shows hydroponics.
I'm doing hydroponics.
There is water under the barley sprouts and the roots absorb the water.
When I was studying hydroponics, I learned about plant cultures.
I realized that growing plants in water alone is simple and cost-effective, but it leads to nutrient deficiencies, slower plant growth, and lower productivity.
Plant culture is a solution used to stimulate plant growth and contains the nutrients plants need in the right proportions.
Nitrogen (N): Plays an important role in plant growth and chlorophyll formation.
Phosphorus (P): Required for root development and the formation of flowers and fruits.
Potassium (K): Regulates cell function and mass movement, and increases stress resistance.
Calcium (Ca): Contributes to cell wall formation and structural stability.
Magnesium (Mg): The central element of chlorophyll, essential for photosynthesis.
Sulfur (S): Required for the synthesis of amino acids and proteins.
Trace elements: iron (Fe), manganese (Mn), zinc (Zn), copper (Cu), molybdenum (Mo), boron (B), and chlorine (Cl) play a small but essential role.
~
The composition of the nutrient solution can vary depending on the type of plant you're growing and its stage of growth, and using the right nutrient solution is important for healthy plant growth.
In this case of growing barley sprouts, we'll be growing barley sprouts without a plant culture solution.
