I think I have use to the study of how I know the behavioral value of the Korea citizens on what love they show, their value and respect, but I write the little I know.
One of what makes me love the Koreans is how I have always see and admire in Korean people is what they do, what they show love, respect and family support in everything they do. It is part of their culture and daily life, and it make them very unique in the world.
In Korea, family is like the root of everything. No matter how busy or rich you are, you still respect your parents and elders. They bow when greeting, they use polite language, and they listen to advice of the old ones. They show respect not for words only, they show also in actions. Children take care of parents when they grow old, and family always stand together.
The love between family members is also strong. I watch many Korean dramas, and in most of them you see how family gather during holiday like Seollal or Chuseok. They cook food together, eat together, and share stories. It remind me of my own culture where family gathering is always important.
Support is another thing that really touch me. In Korea, if one member of family is in trouble, the others come to help. Maybe it is school fee, maybe it is job problem, or even sickness, the family do not leave one person alone. They share the burden together. That is true love in practice.
I think this is why Korea is strong as a nation. Because when family is strong, society also become strong. The values of love, respect and support make the people united, and it reflect in their education, business and even the way they treat visitors.
For me, this part of Korean life is something beautiful, and also something we can all learn from.
