These days, a wide range of AI services are being released, bringing incredible convenience not just to work tasks but to everyday life as well. Many people are already familiar with tools like ChatGPT and are actively using them, and I believe most of you are doing the same. I’m also making an effort to integrate AI services into both my work and daily routines.
For example, when my child asks tricky questions like, “Why is the sky blue?”, I use ChatGPT’s Voice Chat feature to help provide thoughtful answers. Interestingly, I often end up learning new facts myself through this process—it’s become both educational and fun.
Recently, I discovered a new tool from Google called Notebook LM, and I’d like to briefly share how useful it can be. This tool allows you to upload your own files to create a personal AI-powered library, enabling powerful document analysis and interaction.
For instance, if you upload building electrical plans (before and after revision), the AI can not only analyze and review the changes but also instantly organize the information in a mind map format. It even offers podcast-style summaries and lets you generate tailored content using prompts, which opens up a wide range of applications.
Although my current usage is still limited, I plan to continue exploring and learning to gradually expand how I apply these tools.

요즘 다양한 AI 서비스가 출시되면서, 단순한 업무 활용을 넘어 일상 전반에 걸쳐 엄청난 편의성이 생겨나고 있습니다. 많은 분들이 대표적인 서비스인 ChatGPT 등을 잘 알고 계시고, 이미 적극적으로 활용하고 계시리라 생각됩니다. 저 역시 업무뿐 아니라 일상생활 속에서도 AI 서비스를 적극 활용하려고 노력하고 있습니다.
예를 들어, 집에서 아이가 "하늘은 왜 파란색이야?"와 같이 대답하기 까다로운 질문을 할 때, ChatGPT의 Voice Chat 기능을 통해 답변을 들려주곤 합니다. 그 과정에서 저 자신도 몰랐던 새로운 사실들을 많이 알게 되어, 교육적인 측면에서도 큰 도움이 되고 있습니다.
최근에는 구글에서 출시한 Notebook LM이라는 서비스도 알게 되어, 그 활용 경험을 간단히 공유드리고자 합니다. 이 서비스는 내가 가진 파일을 업로드하여 나만의 AI 기반 라이브러리를 구성하고, 이를 바탕으로 다양한 방식의 정보 분석과 활용이 가능하게 해줍니다.
예를 들어, 건물의 전기공사 관련 도면(변경 전·후)을 업로드하면 AI가 이를 비교·분석해 주는 것은 물론, 핵심 내용을 마인드맵 형태로 구조화해주기도 합니다. 또, 팟캐스트 형식의 설명, 프롬프트를 통한 맞춤형 정보 가공 등 다양한 기능이 탑재되어 있어 활용도가 매우 뛰어납니다.
아직은 활용도가 미미하지만, 앞으로도 꾸준히 탐색하고 노력하여 활용 범위를 점차 넓혀가 보겠습니다.
