Warm greetings to the Hive Community and the Korean Village Community.

This past year, 2005, was marked by a constant and enriching connection with Korean culture. It all began through film; I had the opportunity to revisit movies I already knew, enjoying them anew by sharing them with the Korean Village community.

Without a doubt, the great discovery of this year was "K-pop Warriors." It's a spectacular production that completely captivated me, but what's most special is that it's become my children's favorite; they love it so much they watch it over and over again without getting tired of it.

In fact, music has become part of our daily lives. My children can't stop singing the song: “You Are My Delight, You Are My Delight,” a song that has become so popular in our country that it has several versions and has even reached platforms like Roblox.

What began with film has expanded into music and fashion, making this year a true immersion in the fascinating world of Korea.

Another way I've connected with Korean culture has been through fashion. In my country, Venezuela, we fervently maintain the tradition of new arrivals. It's a sacred custom to wear new clothes every December 24th to welcome the Christ Child, and on the 31st to say goodbye to the old year and welcome the new one with the best energy.

As parents, we make a tremendous effort to uphold this tradition. Despite the deep economic crisis and the inflationary process we've faced for years, nothing stops us. Even if it's in a humble way, our priority is always that our children wear their new clothes and keep the magic alive.

This year, my daughter, like many girls her age, had a very special wish: she wanted an outfit inspired by Korean fashion, specifically the style of "K-pop Warriors." As proof, here are some photos of her wearing her outfit. She was radiant and incredibly happy; seeing her smile and her confidence as she felt like one of her heroines made me even happier.

This has undoubtedly been one of my best forays into Korean culture in 2025. As I close this chapter, I welcome 2026 with the hope that it will be a year full of success and greater understanding of this culture that has so positively impacted music, fashion, and film worldwide.

제가 한국 문화와 연결된 또 다른 방법은 패션을 통해서였습니다. 제 나라인 베네수엘라에서는 새로 온 사람들을 소중히 여기는 전통이 아주 강합니다. 매년 12월 24일에는 아기 예수 탄생을 축하하며 새 옷을 입는 신성한 관습이 있으며, 31일에는 묵은 한 해를 보내고 새해를 최고의 기운으로 맞이합니다.
