Hello everyone, today is the last day of the year. New Year's Eve will be celebrated by a lot of people this evening, with tables set and events organized. Depending on everyone's preference and financial situation, the celebration will vary. So we have made our preparations. I will talk about one of these preparations, hair and a little bit of beard shaving. This shaving preparation took place at home, with my own razor, a joint work of my girlfriend and me. 😂

During the pandemic, my senior friend gave me a shaver as a gift. Since then, that is, for about 1.5-2 years, I have been shaving my hair at home. I have only been to the barber once, and that was because I was caught passing by my barber. 😂 I explained that I shave at home, but then when I saw the resentment in his eyes, I came to the conclusion that I should shave at the barber for a correction once in a while. But later, this conviction changed to the point that I would never pass in front of the barber again.😂

Yesterday, I was out with my girlfriend until the evening. At the end of a period in which I constantly felt stares on me, when I looked in the mirror, I realized that my hair looked disgusting. So I decided not to shave when I went home in the evening. Maybe they were staring because I was so handsome, I don't know. 😂😂😂😂😂

The razor has nozzles for cutting in many lengths. These lengths go from number 1 to number 12. However, these numbers are different from the number 3 shaving, number 1 shaving that is said when you go to barbershops. I learned this from my barber when I went for a correction. The numbers written on the nozzles of the machine indicate mm. The number said in the barber is the usual numbers in the colloquial language. Since I have been shaving with my own machine for a long time, I have learned my own numbers.

My girlfriend and I have improved ourselves in this regard. We used to shave with different tricks, but lately we don't care much about it. Because these kinds of cuts are our "don't make it look too straight" methods that we apply when the hair is short. Since I decided to grow the top part of my hair completely, we don't touch it at all. We cut the sides and back sides with a 3 mm setting like I have been doing recently. I did the sides of this shave myself. My girlfriend did the back.

I shortened the beard a little bit except for the mustache and chin because it bothers me a lot that those parts are long. Even though there is not a very noticeable difference in terms of appearance, both the sides of my hair and the parts of my beard that I shortened made me very comfortable. The reason why I cut it so short even though we are in the winter months is that the weather in Izmir has not cooled down much yet. Until the weather gets colder, I think it will reach a length that will not catch a cold. I wish everyone a happy, healthy and peaceful year...🎄❤️

Herkese merhaba, bugün yılın son günü. Yılbaşı gecesi, bu akşam kurulacak sofralar, yapılacak etkinliklerle bir sürü insan tarafından kutlanacak. Herkesin, tercihine ve maddi durumuna göre yapacağız kutlama değişiyor. Biz de hazırlıklarımızı yaptık. Ben, bu hazırlıklardan, bir tanesi olan saç ve birazcık da sakal tıraşımdan bahsedeceğim. Bu tıraş hazırlığı, evde, kendi tıraş makinemle, kız arkadaşım ve benim ortak bir çalışmamızla gerçekleşti. 😂

Pandemi döneminde, kı arkadaşım bana bir tıraş makinesi hediye etti. O zamandan beridir, yani yaklaşık 1.5-2 senedir, saç tıraşımı evde oluyorum. Sadece bir kez berbere gittim. O da berberimin önünden geçerken, yakalandığım için oldu. 😂 Evde tıraş olduğumu anlattım fakat, sonra bakışlarındaki kırgınlığı görünce, arada bir düzeltme için berberde tıraş olmam gerektiği kanaatine ulaştım. Fakat daha sonra, bu kanaatim, bir daha berberin önünden geçmemem gerektiği şeklinde değişti.😂

Dün, akşama kadar kız arkadaşımla dışardaydık. Sürekli üzerimde bakışlar hissettiğim bir sürecin sonunda, aynaya baktığımda, saçlarımın iğrenç göründüğünü fark ettim. Böylece akşam eve gittiğimde tıraş olama kararı aldım. Belki de çok yakışıklı olduğum için bakıyorlardı bilemiyorum. 😂😂😂

Tıraş makinesinin bir sürü uzunlukta kesim için ağızlığı var. Bu uzunluklar 1 numaradan 12 numaraya kadar gidiyor. Fakat, berberlere gidildiğinde söylenen 3 numara tıraş, 1 numara tıraşla, bu numaralar farklı. ben bunu düzeltme için gittiğimde berberimden öğrendim. Makinenin ağızlıklarında yazan numaralar, mm belirtiyormuş. Berberde söylenen numara ise halk dilinde alışılagelmiş numaralar. Ben zaten uzun bir zamandır, kendi makinemle tıraş olduğum için kendi numaralarımı öğrendim.

Bu konuda, kız arkadaşımla, kendimizi geliştirdik. Farklı numaralarla geçişler yaparak tıraş yapıyorduk. Fakat, son zamanlarda bunu pek umursamıyoruz. Çünkü, bu tarz kesimler, saçın tamamı kısa olduğunda uyguladığımız "çok da düz görünmesin" yöntemlerimiz. Saçımın üst tarafını, tamamen uzatma kararı aldığım için, oraya hi ellemiyoruz. Yan ve arka tarafları da son zamanlarda yaptığım gibi 3 mm ayarıyla kesiyoruz. Bu tıraşın yan taraflarını ben kendim yaptım. Arka tarafı ise kız arkadaşım yaptı.

Sakalların da bıyık ve çene kısmı dışında kalan yerleri biraz kısalttım. Çünkü o kısımların uzun olması, beni çok rahatsız ediyor. Görüntü olarak çok belirgin bir fark olmasa da hem saçlarımın yan tarafları hem de sakallarımın kısalttığım kısımları, beni epey rahatlattı. Kış aylarında olmamıza rağmen bu kadar kısa kesme sebebim, henüz İzmir’de havaların fazla soğumamış olması. Havalar iyice soğuyana kadar, üşütmeyecek uzunluğa ulaşacağını düşünüyorum.
