After the introduction I would like to start the post. A few days ago I visited my friend's farm.
His parents were out of the village, so he was left to take care of the house and the animals. He asked me for help and I gladly came to his aid.

The first thing we did was to feed the chickens. They must have been very hungry because they came to us as soon as they heard the sound of the sack. After feeding them, we watched the chickens for a while. Then we went into the coop and got the eggs. After leaving the chickens, we went into the barn. We were greeted by a big, lovely cow. It must have been hungry too, because it started making strange noises when it saw us.

Daha sonra kümese girip yumurtaları aldık. Tavukların yanından ayrıldıktan sonra ahırın iç kısmına girdik. Bizi büyük, sevimli bir inek karşıladı. First we put about ten liters of water in front of him. She drank almost all of it. Then we poured straw into the trough in front of her and mixed it with barley. Dinner was ready for this lovely cow. Meanwhile, I noticed a black spot on the cow's belly that looked like a heart.
As she continued to eat, we came to the most exciting part.

I had never milked a cow before in my life. I was very excited. The questions in my mind "will the cow do something, will it kick me?" started to worry me. My friend must have understood my fear because he started milking first. The cow did not react at all. After watching my friend for a while, I went to work myself. Obviously, there was nothing to be suspicious about. The cow behaved very calmly. After the milking was over, we cleaned the area where the cow would sleep and left the barn.
Hayatımda daha önce inekten hiç süt sağmadım. Oldukça heyecanlıydım. Zihnimde beliren "acaba inek bir şey yapar mı? tekme atar mı?" soruları beni endişelendirmeye başladı. Arkadaşım korkumu anlamış olmalı ki ilk önce kendisi sağmaya başladı. İnek hiç tepki vermiyordu. Arkadaşımı bir müddet izledikten sonra işe ben koyuldum. Açıkçası kuşkulanacak bir durum yokmuş. İnek gayet sakın bir davrandı. Süt sağma işlemi bittikten sonra ineğin uyuyacağı kısmı temizledik ve ahırdan çıktık.
Finally, we went to the goats. My friend had prepared the goats' food in advance. He cut the cabbage leaves into the shape they would eat. We poured it in front of them and hung a few fresh branches around the edges. Then we closed the door and left these sweet animals.
It took about forty minutes to take care of the animals. I thanked the friend for asking me for help because it was like therapy for me. Maybe in the future I will start a small farm like this.

Son olarak keçilerin yanına gittik. Arkadaşım keçilerin yiyeceğini önceden hazırlamış. Lahana yapraklarını yiyecekleri şekilde kesmiş. Önlerine döktükten sonra kenarlara da birkaç taze dal astık. Daha sonra kapıyı kapatıp bu tatlı hayvanların yanından ayrıldık.
Hayvanların bakımı yaklaşık kırk dakika sürdü. Arkadaşa benden yardım istediği için teşekkür ettim. Çünkü bana terapi gibi geldi. Belki ilerde ben de bu şekilde küçük bir çiftlik kurarım..
