Hello everyone, friends. If we have free time on the weekends, my wife definitely wants to do something outside. Last weekend, we decided to visit the zoo with my wife's proposal. Today I want to tell you about this trip and show you the most interesting animal I have ever seen.
Herkese merhaba arkadaşlar. Eğer hafta sonlarında boşluğumuz var ise eşim mutlaka dışarılarda bir şeyler yapmak istiyor. Geçtiğimiz hafta sonu yine eşimin teklifi ile hayvanat bahçesi gezisi yapmaya karar verdik. Bugün sizlere bu geziden bahsetmek ve gördüğüm benim için en ilginç hayvanı göstermek istiyorum.
I had been to zoos in my hometown and the city where I studied at university before. However, I had never seen an elephant in any of them and I really wanted to see it. According to the information we received from our friends who went before, they said that this living garden is quite large and almost all animals are found. So I was pretty excited to go. 🐘
Daha öncede kendi memleketimde ve üniversite okuduğum şehirde hayvanat bahçelerine gitmiştim.Ancak hiçbirinde fil görmemiştim ve görmeyi çok istiyordum. Daha önce giden arkadaşlarımızdan aldığımız bilgilere göre bu hayat bahçesi oldukça büyük olduğunu ve neredeyse tüm hayvanların bulunduğunu söylemişlerdi. Bu yüzden giderken oldukça heyecanlıydım. 🐘🦣
There were information boards in the area where each animal was located. The information we read on the information boards in the Elephants section caught our attention. One of the elephants here was gifted to Izmir Zoo by the President of India. We even gifted one of Turkey's iconic animals, the Kangal dog, to India in return. The name of the elephant gifted here was Begümcan. And almost the same age as me. This detail was really funny to me. 🐘 😄
Her bir hayvanın bulunduğu bölgede bilgilendirme panoları yer alıyordu. Filler bölümünde de bilgilendirme panolarından okuduğumuz bilgiler dikkatimizi çekti. Buradaki fillerden birisi Hint devlet başkanı tarafından İzmir hayvanat bahçesine hediye edilmiş. Hatta biz de bunun karşılığında Türkiye'nin simge hayvanlarının birisi olan kangal köpeğini Hindistan'a hediye etmişiz. Buraya hediye edilen filin ismi Begümcan imiş. Ve neredeyse benimle aynı yaşta. Gerçekten özellikle bu ayrıntı çok komiğime gitmişti. 🐘🦣 😄

Begümcan is a very cute and active elephant. Seeing people, he made different movements with his trunk. There were also small children around us who came to visit this place. They were very excited and surprised when they saw the elephants. They were constantly yelling at the elephants to "come here". I learned from the information board that her name was Begümcan and I said to one of the children there, 'Do you know the name of that elephant, Begümcan'. When he learned the elephant's name, he started shouting, saying its name this time. When the child said "Begümcan, my daughter come here", the people around laughed a lot.
Begümcan oldukça sevimli ve hareketli bir fil. İnsanları görünce hortumuyla değişik hareketler yaptı. Etrafımızda burayı ziyarete gelen küçük çocuklar da vardı. Onlar da filleri gördüklerinde oldukça heyecanlı ve şaşkındılar. Durmadan fillere "buraya gel" diye bağırıyorlardı. Ben bilgilendirme panosundan adının belirinden olduğunu öğrendim ve oradan çocuğun birine, o filmin ismi Begümcanmış biliyor musun dedim. Filin adını öğrenince bu sefer adıyla hitap ederek bağırmaya başladı. Çocuk "Begümcan, buraya gel kızım" deyince etraftakiler baya gülmüşlerdi.😅
Again, as we read on information boards and hear from people talking among themselves, elephants are very sensitive and emotional animals. It is truly amazing how a creature with such a large body can be so sensitive and emotional. In fact, I think elephants are the animals that fear mice the most. Because we also read that the biggest creatures living on land are elephants. 🐘💫
Yine bilgilendirme panolarından okuduğumuz ve insanların aralarında konuşmalarından duyduğumuz kadarıyla filler, oldukça hassas ve duygusal hayvanlarmış. Bu kadar büyük vücuda sahip bir canlının bu kadar hassas ve duygusal olması gerçekten muazzam bir durum. Hatta fareden korkan en büyük vücutlu hayvan bence filler. Çünkü karada yaşayan en büyük canlıların filler olduğunu da okumuşduk. 🦣🐘💫
