Good evening my dear friends. Today was the last day of my village visit. I will complete the last of the posts on the village with this post. In this post, I will talk about a work we did in our small garden in the village. When you go to the village, life continues in a different way. If I give an example of this, you may suddenly come across something unplanned. I woke up normally on Saturday. I had my breakfast. Everything was normal up to this point, of course. All of a sudden, during the conversation, the topic of what to do today was passed. With a spur of the moment decision, I found ourselves in our garden ten minutes from our house.

Buraya kadar her şey normaldi elbette. Bir anda sohbet esnasında bugün ne iş yapsak konusu geçti. Anlık alınan bir kararla kendimizi evimize on dakika uzaklıktaki bahçemizde buldum.
I have explained some information about this garden in my previous post where I explained that we made a greenhouse. When I came to the previous village, we tried to build a greenhouse inside this garden. I had not seen the completed version of this greenhouse. On this trip, I first examined the greenhouse we had built. As you can see in the first image, a greenhouse has formed. On this trip, we rolled up our sleeves to build a camellia in the garden.

Bu seranın tamamlanmış halini görememiştim. Bu gidişimde ilk önce yapmış olduğumuz serayı inceledim. İlk görselde gördüğünüz şekilde bir sera oluşmuş.
Bu gidişimde ise bahçeye bir kamelya yapmak için kolları sıvadık.
We went to the garden with my uncle and father. Since my uncle is better in this kind of work, we generally acted under his guidance. First, we moved the wooden poles that we had prepared before. We measured the poles we carried with meters and cut them accordingly. The heavy weight of some of the struts was a factor that made our work difficult. First we set a strut in each corner. Then we adjusted the thick side of these uprights to the top. The reason why we set the thick side to the top was that after covering it with zinc sheet, its slope would be downward and the snow falling in winter would slide more easily.
Bahçeye amcam ve babamla birlikte gittik. Bu tür işlerde amcam daha iyi olduğu için genel olarak onun yönlendirmeleriyle hareket ettik.
İlk olarak daha önceden hazırladığımız ağaçtan yapılmış direkleri oraya taşıdık.
Taşıdığımız direkleri metre ile ölçerek uygun şekilde kesimini gerçekleştirdik.
Bazı direklerin ağır olması işimizi zorlaştıran bir etken oldu.
Önce her köşeye birer direk ayarladık. Daha sonra bu direklerin kalın tarafını üste gelecek şekilde ayarladık.
Kalın tarafını üste ayarlama sebebimiz üzerini çinko sac ile kapattıktan sonra eğimi aşağıya doğru olacak ve kışın yağan karın daha rahat kayması sağlanacaktı.
We were fixing the wooden struts needed for the camellia with thick nails. Due to the type of some trees, the nails were bent, giving us difficulties. To ease this challenge, we were rubbing the tip of the nail into our hair. I have witnessed this situation before. I asked this to my uncle with curiosity. His answer was that this way the friction force of the nail increased and it was driven more easily. I guess this process is a matter of Science.
Kamelya için gereken ağaçtan direkleri kalın çiviler ile sabitliyorduk. Bazı ağaçların türünden dolayı çiviler yamularak bize zorluk çıkarıyordu. Bu zorluğu kolaylaştırmak için çivinin ucunu saçımıza sürtüyorduk. Bu duruma daha önceleri de şahit olmuştum. Bunu amcama merakla sordum. Cevabı ise bu şekilde çivinin sürtünme gücünün arttığı ve bu tür kalın ağaçtan direklere daha rahat bir şekilde çakıldığıydı.
Sanırım bu işlem Fen Bilimlerinin bir konusu.
It made me happy to learn new things thanks to the work we did. Our camellia was getting more beautiful with every transaction we made. I really wanted the camellia to be completed within the day. However, there was a lack of materials and we were tired. I think our Camellia will be completed while I'm gone, just like the greenhouse that I started to build and left unfinished and which I saw completed on my next visit.
Yaptığımız çalışma sayesinde yeni şeyler öğrenmek beni mutlu ediyordu. Kamelyamız yaptığımız her işlemde daha da güzel hale geliyordu.
Kamelya gün içinde tamamlanmasını çok istemiştim.
Ancak hem malzeme eksikliği vardı hem de yorulmuştuk.
Sanırım, tıpkı yapmaya başlayıp yarım kalan ve bir sonraki gelişimde tamamlanmış halini gördüğüm sera gibi kamelyamız da ben yokken tamamlanacak.
