Kahramanmaraş’taki çalışmaları sürdürürken Hatay’da personel ihtiyacı olduğu haberini aldık.
Ekibimizi oluşturup Hatay’a geldik. İki şehir birbirine çok uzak olmasa da trafiğin etkisiyle yaklaşık 4 saatte vardık.
While we were continuing our work in Kahramanmaraş, we received the news that there was a need for personnel in Hatay.
We formed our team and came to Hatay. Although the two cities are not far from each other, we arrived in about 4 hours due to the traffic.
Yardım tırlarının yolda yağmalandığı ve ihtiyaç sahiplerine ulaşamadan yok edildiği bilgisi kısmen doğru. Maalesef ülkemizde yardımsever insanlar olduğu gibi fırsatçı insanlarda yaşıyor.
Bu tarz haberler özellikle sadece yardım göndererek destek olabilen kişileri fazlasıyla etkiliyor. Ama şunu söyleyebilirim; Çok fazla yardım var. Hatay’ın Antakya ilçesinde rönesans rezidans’ın yanında bulunan petrol bir açık pazar halinde çalışıyor. İhtiyaç sahipleri buradan ihtiyaçlarını rahatlıkla karşılayabiliyor. Çok fazla insan burada olduğu için fotoğraflama imkanım olmuyor. Ama buradaki malzemeler sürekli artıyor ve azalıyor. Asla boş kalmıyor. Bu da yardımların bir şekilde ulaşabildiğini gösteriyor.
The information that aid trucks were looted on the way and destroyed before they could reach those in need is partially true. Unfortunately, there are opportunistic people in our country as well as helpful people.
This kind of news especially affects people who can only support by sending help. But I can say this; There is so much help. The oil, located next to the Renaissance residence in the Antakya district of Hatay, works as an open market. Those in need can easily meet their needs from here. Because there are so many people here, I can't take pictures. But the materials here are constantly increasing and decreasing. It is never empty. This shows that aid is somehow reaching.
Son olarak Hatay için gözlemlerim diğer illerden farksız. Bu güzel şehrimizde doğal afetin acımasız sonuçlarıyla karşı karşıya. Hatay hep ziyaret etmek istediğim ama fırsat bulup gelemediğim bir şehirdi. Buraya ilk gelişimin böyle kötü bir sebeple olması üzücü.
Finally, my observations for Hatay are no different from other provinces. Our beautiful city is facing the brutal consequences of a natural disaster. Hatay was a city that I always wanted to visit but never had the opportunity to come. It's a pity that my first time here was for such a bad reason.
