I AM NINE YEARS A PRIEST TODAY!
Praise to God and people of goodwill !
Introduction:
It was 9 years ago today that I made the final decision of becoming a priest after about ten years of seminary formation.
My inspiration to become one were hung on the perception that I wanted to reach out to as many as I could . I had always envisaged an environment where everyone had equal opportunity; this is utopia but of course we could push it to a certain human extent .
Through life, I have met different persons . I have met those who love my dreams and aspirations , those whose life have challenged me , as well as those who are/were ready to give me a tap on the back and a ride on ; to these I am grateful . I wanna say thank you .
I have had people who stood up for me and spoke for me and the people or projects I cherished . They showed generosity to me and opened their hearts to me like their blood . Today more than ever, I count all these as God’s blessings to me . I wanna say , thank you 🙏.
Today I am 9 years . All praise to God and people of goodwill . I ask for your prayerful best wishes from you my beloved . Life is a precious and sacred gift from God and must be cherished and protected by humans here on earth .
Today most parts of the world is threatened by the absence of peace . Wars occasioned by many factors .
Fear seem to take over the stage of life . We pray for quick return of peace to where peace is threatened and life insecure . May the lord of peace send us his peace .
