Hello friends, I would like to talk about a place that smells of history. I do not know whether there is public transportation as we do the transportation from a neighborhood side of Antalya's manavgat district with our own vehicle. Side is one of the few ruins that I visited during my life in Antalya.
After you park your car in a private car park at the entrance to the ruins, you enter civilization by passing through the walking path where the walls are.
I would like to say that the ancient city, which has hosted many civilizations, was a place where the Lydians continued their existence for a while, and I got this information from the introductory articles there.
I am very excited to do a cultural trip, do you feel like this? For example, what they ate here, what they talked about here, what kind of family life they had, I think it must be a curiosity due to my being a woman 😀 if I had not chosen the profession of veterinary, I would have chosen the professions of archeology or anthropology, for sure, because I like to search for secrets 😊. There is a very nice bazaar in the center of Side, there are also cafes and restaurants by the sea, where you can sit and rest, it is very good to watch the sea while resting and having your meal.

The items belonging to that period in the Side museum have been preserved very well, and another beautiful detail is that it gives people a visual feast while walking around the museum.
When you move a little further, the temple of Apollo greets you with all its splendor. According to what I learned from the information written there, the name of this temple comes from Apollo, the god of light and art, and it was dedicated to him. It is good for us to take a cultural trip with the family whenever we have the opportunity. It is difficult for a person who does not know his history and past to direct his future. I'm one of those who think it is.

Bir cok medeniyete ev sahipliği yapmış bir yer side antik kent bir dönem Lidyalılar burada varlıklarını sürdürmüş bu bilgileri orada tanıtım yazılarından edindiğimide söylemek istiyorum.
Kültür gezisi yapmak beni çok heyecanlandırıyor sizde böyle hissedermisiniz ? Mesela burda ne yediler ,burda ne konuştular nasıl bir aile hayatları vardı sanırım bayan olmamdan kaynaklı bir merak olsa gerek 😀 eğer veterinerlik mesleğini seçmemiş olsam arkeoloji yada antropoloji mesleklerini seçerdim hiç kuşkusuz, çünkü gizleri araştırmak hoşuma gidiyor 😊.Su hayattır diye boşuna dememişler mısır medeniyetinide zaman zaman araştırıp okuyan biriyim ve iki medeniyette kuruluşlarını su kenarlarına yapmışlar.Sidenin merkezde çok güzel bir çarşısı var ayrıca deniz kenarında ,oturup dinlenebileceğiniz cafeler ve restoranlar mevcut ,dinlenirken ve yemeğinizide yerken denizi seyretmek insana çok iyi geliyor.
Side müzesinde o döneme ait ,eşyalar günümüze çok iyi korunarak gelmiş ,güzel olan başka bir ayrıntıda müze içinde gezerken insana görsel şölen yaşatması.
Biraz ilerleyince apollon tapınağı tüm görkemiyle sizi karşılıyor orada yazan bilgilerden edindiğime göre ,bu tapınağın ismi ışık ve sanat tanrısı olan apollan dan geliyor ona ithaf edilmiş.Zaman zaman fırsat buldukça ailecek kültür gezisi yapmak bize iyi geliyor tarihini ve geçmişini bilmeyen bir kişinin geleceğine yön vermesinin zor olduğunu düşünenlerdenim.
