This is week #128. I am happy to be part of you guys. I also wish everyone a beautiful week ahead.
Wedding anniversary is a very sweet thing to do and I do love that every year is celebrated in my family. This is my 22 years of marriage and I keep remembering that very special day. In the month of August and the very day if twelve, in the year 2000. A very special year to me .
But for me is so unfortunate because I don't get to celebrate it every year. I will love to tell us the reasons why I don't get to celebrate it every year.
Not that we don't celebrate it at all. But kind of not my own way. I love celebrating in a very special way because the day is a special day to me. But on the contrary, my husband happens not to be a social type. He loves a quiet life. His lifestyle happens to be opposite of my own life style. Left alone, I will love to gather people every year, or probably once in two years to celebrate our wedding anniversary. But for the fact that my husband don't like it, I just decided to look for another way and celebrate my anniversary. One of the ways that I celebrate it is with my own friends. Some of them give me a call and send their wishes. While some send me some gift that makes the day go special for me. My husband won't even ask or check the date. Sometimes it gets me angry, but I have become too use to it that I don't get angry anymore. All I do is to go out and look for something special for myself that day and that will be all.
When I see how some families celebrate their anniversary, I wish I have that opportunity to do so. But all is well. We only get to celebrate it three years ago when I insisted we do a little celebration. Even at that it was just few friends that he allowed we call together at home and did a little party for them. That happens to be the only time we get to do any celebration concerning our anniversary. But trust me, I have a special way of giving myself a good treat on that day. I'm eagerly waiting for 12th August,2023. And I will have to take very good care of myself.
