Change as it comes, could have a positive or negative outcome, either way, it is always not so simple. Transitioning from a pattern, lifestyle or anything at all for that matter, may come with its own adrenaline rush.
I am a person who is more of a night owl than of a morning lark. Whether I have something to engage my time with or not, I sleep late anyways.
It just happened I got myself a job that contradicted with my sleeping habit in the sense that, I had to force myself to go to bed early.
Now, that was a problem for me, I have been used to sleeping so late adjusting myself to a new trend was very unexpected.
The reporting time to work was as early as before 6 O'clock am. The earliest I could go to bed at the time , was around midnight, and where I stay is miles aways from my work place, which required that I wake up before 3:30am or latest by 4am.
Few months into my work became a bit challenging because I couldn't adjust right away to sleeping before midnight, I could sleep for 3hours 30mins and wake up.
My closing time which was 2pm was good enough for me to do my chores early when I return home, and retire to bed early.

But being me, I was stuck with my old ways and I was sleeping less and less hours each day. I had to advice myself against it as I knew that could affect me health wise.
what I did was to make new sleeping plans.I will be lying if I say I was able to keep to it. It took a lot of trying and consistency to be able to adjust my sleeping time to 11pm . Occasionally I will force myself to 10pm ,
truth be told, change is not that simple especially when it has to do with sometime you are accustomed to, for the better part of your life.
Fast-forward, I finally managed to adjust to new sleep pattern, but it took a lot of trying to get there. Fortunately, my reporting time also changed to 7am as time went on.

Going through the process of change is one interesting experience which, you have to be in the moment itself to understand the psychological and emotional-roller-coaster ride along the way.
