As we are in season and week of love and showing love. As for me i don't have a particular time or season to show love to my lover ones, be it family or friends. Everyday is a lovers day for me. In my home we don't have to wait for valentine day for us to express or appreciate our love for each. Everyday is a special moment for us. I can go out i see something good and lovely, i will get it as a gift for my hubby and the same is applicable to him.
On eve of valentine, we went for shopping at the mall to get some groceries, and my husband saw this beautiful couple's wristwatch, and he bought it for us. Like in my mind i was saying my valentine gift came early. Which i know that is not even my valentine gift because as for me everyday and everytime i spent with hubby is valentine and special moment.
But on valentine i and hubby went out in the evening for outing at a joint and get fruit wine and cake to celebrate our love, and this is the best the best and first time am celebrating valentine with hubby. Secondly I i celebrated my golden mother because valentine day happens to be her birthday.
Also on valentine day, i went to a popular market around my area to get some food stuff. I saw a crowd of people at a spot jubilating in celebration at a particular woman that won a gift of money and other goodies. So i was curious to know what happened, i was told she lend a helping to a beggar by giving him food to eat, she not knowing that its this people that do social street experiment in disguise to prank.
I felt emotional and it also taught me a lesson, had it been she didn't helped the beggar and refused to helped like other people the beggars met before now that failed to helped him, thats how she would missed her blessings. Her valentine gift just arrived on a platter of gold. We should give, help in season and out of season. Show a little bit of love and kindness that's the way to make the world a happy place. There shouldn't be a particular time to express love and it shouldn't only be in words but in action.
