I am glad I grew up in the era of great songs and great TV sitcoms.
Who doesn’t know Friends, Ally McBeal and Who’s The Boss?

For music, I listened to all genres. We are certainly not short of good songs in those days. Growing up in the household of family that are glued to the radio most times, I grew up with the 60s, 70s and 80s music.
I have too many favorites to list down here.
But top five in those days would be Abba, Beatles, Chicago, Queen and Air Supply.
Check out a few of my favorites below.

(Above: Chicago's "Will you still love me")

And then the 90s and early 2000s came. I fell in love with Hip Hop Rap, Alternative Rock, Rock & Roll, R&B and Pop.
Few favorites below.

To me, from mid 60s up to early 2000s, these are the era of great artists and songs. Each song is meaningfully written, the rhythm and melody are always relatable.
Few weeks back, I chanced upon the 56th Pepsi NFL Superbowl Halftime Show 2022 on Youtube.
Boy! I didn’t expect that the show was choreographed so well by Dr Dre and his team. The performances and songs brought back so much great memories and I enjoyed throughout the show. Believe me, I have seen previous Pepsi halftime shows on Youtube, but nothing comes close to this in my opinion.
Perhaps it’s just us, the Generation X.
Generation X, also known as Gen X, grew up with minimal adult supervision, highly adaptable and independent. Our generation is not only curious and explorative but technologically adept too. When MTV was launched in 1981, most Gen Xers became hooked on it and they became the first generation that watched music 24 hours a day. Gen Xers invented the first personal computer too. That first invention gives birth to many other devices that we have today.
Oh, back to the show! For those of you who have not seen the recent 56th Pepsi NFL Superbowl Halftime Show 2022, check this out. Since uploaded on 14 February 2022, the video has been viewed by 73 million people worldwide…and definitely counting!
