Six.

šµ"Four little, five little, six little Indians..."šµ
Have you ever played Encore? It was, by far, my favorite game growing up!
We often played this game in the car (pre-cellphones)! We would split up into two teams or play individually. Then someone would choose a word and everyone would think of songs that included that word. At that point, someone would start singing a song - as much as you can remember in order to prove that it was a real song! The team who knows the most songs with that word, wins that point and chooses a new word.
I have fond memories of driving around in the car and singing songs. šµ"I've got an avocado in my twelve string case and an e-string in my shoe. There's a blind purple people eater in my bed, now what am I to do?" šµ
Normally this game was played with a board and cards with words on them. We found it was much more fun in the car. And the fact that I knew a ton of silly songs, thanks to Girl Scouts, I often won!
This contest came at such an unusual time. I was just telling my husband about this game the other day. He had never heard of it, so I showed him that I could beat him at it! Now it is time to introduce it to my kids!
Now it's your turn...
Think of as many songs as you can with the word "TOP" in it.
While learning how to use Hive yesterday, I came across this post by Ladies of Hive Community. A contest where they ask what our favorite childhood game or food was, and if we still play or eat it.
