We really do not appreciate the importance of good health if we see ourselves healthy day by day and sometimes we are tempted to neglect ourselves and not look out for our health keenly on a daily basis.
My daily supplement
Last week I was in and out of the hospital and have been feeling sick for about two months. I noticed I started feeling dizzy after my period two months ago. I tried to take blood boosters and vitamins but there wasn’t much improvements, followed by the sharp pain I had been feeling on my left chest.
I knew it was time to go beyond my regular daily health care routine to see a doctor. I had to go to the hospital and first, it’s shocking to see the number of people in the hospital and even those in the female ward. I couldn’t help but wonder and be partly grateful that I could walk with my two legs.
I was diagnosed of having ulcer. It came as a shock to me and you can’t imagine the numerous drugs written out for me to buy. I spent over a hundred thousand Naira just to acquire drugs and go for the lab test and scans. It wasn’t a funny experience but I am glad I could get medical help.
Well, outside this recent experience, I have in my own little way tried to care for my health and some of the things I do was to ensure that my environment is clean and tidy to reduce the rate of bacteria infection.
My vitamin C
I have my bath regularly and as a woman I have this daily multivitamin supplement I take. It’s once a day and it contains different vitamins that helps to boost immune system, bone and skin health. It’s good for healthy muscles and energy metabolism as well as heart health.
I also ensure to have handy blood boosters to help for blood replenishment after my monthly circle. I also have my feminelle wash that I use for my intimate wash to avoid of our and infection. I also have my vitamin C that I take regularly twice a day.
Our body as women is very sensitive and we should really take extra care to protect it. We shouldn’t only take care of our body when we are sick but should care when we feel healthy cos prevention is actually better than cure.
