I will like to share with you caution as regards transiting your assets on the HIVE network to Binance.
In the past two weeks, I thought of storing my HIVE on Binance to await its bull market where I can also track the progress in my portfolio statistically.
I never realized it was HBD I clicked on. So I initiated the transfer and it went. Waiting couple of minutes for transaction to reflect on my Binance is what I got tired of doing. Not knowing I did the wrong asset transfer.
I also waited to receive notification from Binance for a successful completion of transfer in my mail but got tired also of doing so also. I searched for various means to communicate with Binance team which I eventually used their support, they have detailed entry of your complaints prepared for you. All you have to do is select what type of case you encountered. Mine was transfer of the wrong asset I choose.
Not quite long, Binance replied me of the notification of my complaint stating my complaint number and or reference code.
I hope to hear from them but my request fell on deaf ears and it seems gone. I made a progress to submit another complaint and Binance promising to treat the complaint in seven days time. I thought after seven days I should receive my HBD back to my Hive account.
Notwithstanding, Binance didn’t even respond to both complaints as they disregarded them.
Even till today which marks a completion period of 14 days, 2 weeks in full binance is yet to respond to my complaint of wrong asset transfer.
The Usual Process
The usual process of transferring to Binance is firstly you select HIVE on Binance which will display a username and a memo. Please each time you wish to transfer your assets to Binance always go copy your memo or username manually from the app.
This is to ensure that HIVE is running as expected on their network. The sometime ago HIVE was suspended on Binance, I learnt a lot of people lost their asset because they already knew their transaction details off hand only to confirm the transfer and find out HIVE has been suspended.

This doesn’t take too long before you will be able to get HIVE in return. But if it does, you can always cancel and replace the order again.
You will be credited with HIVE from your HBD.
