I understand that the world we are in today is basically characterized by a global recession but still in this period, how do you manage to save up because I find that a bit difficult but I still do.
When I mean difficult doesn’t implies that I don’t save at all, No, but I am not constant with the amount I do save. I might save 2 dollars today and $1 tomorrow. This led me to ask members of the community how they go on saving their finance without touching them?
What is saving?
Saving might not be a new thing to everyone I guess, it’s just an act of keeping back part of your income for future purposes. If you are into salary earning job, if the amount you are earning isn’t enough, you just don’t have to think of saving but savings cannot be neglected.
Why is savings important?
The importance of saving cannot be over emphasized and it’s very important as long as you are working class, not working or even working from home. The following are the reasons why I find saving as important as anything.
Helps to meet future need
Yes, this has actually helped me out; let me share to you a brief story. When I was in college and about to graduate, I had little financial constraint in carrying out my degree project and hence needed some form of support.
I am not this type that’s ask people for money so often become I feel bad about it and I have same thing they have and we all are made of same flesh plus I can work with my hands. So what’s the essence asking help when you could actually help.
During my school days I use to save some money for feeding and up care I was given and guess what? That was the money I used for my project and it helped out.
Saving inspires you to work more
Even if you have a goal or target, probably you wished to buy a lexus car in 2023,
and wants to save for it. What happens when you don’t even have food to eat at home at that period? Will you take from the savings you have accumulated?
This will inspire you to work more because you have a target.
Working more doesn’t implies that you have only a single job, No, you can have some extra job to cater for your needs and the rest.
Conclusion
Savings is important in life because if you don’t have savings, you might end up asking people for help, owe debt and the rest but with your savings you can meet needs. And help others too.
