Having a friend entails that you do whatsoever you can available in your reach to aid the person in times of inconveniences especially when it regards to health.
I will be sharing how I became an advocate for a friend when I was in school
She is by name Shela but I call her princess. she was my room mate and could know her in and out. Along the line, I started noticing some changes in her. She wouldn’t sleep some night in the room and I was bothered.
I asked her some questions, why and where she has been staying over the night and her answer was not comfortable enough and I knew something was happening behind doors.
I only cautioned her to be careful with young guys, some might not really be what she thinks. I don’t hate men but the world is not really as it was before. She neglected my advice.
Fast forward to this story, she came back one night, coughing blood and vomiting.
Despite the fact that she began to notice I was suspecting her, she stopped talking to me.
I had to rush her out and called the nearest transport in order to take her down to the school clinic. On getting there, we were told, the nurse to handle the job wasn’t on sit and no one to replace her.
We went to the hospital, She was admitted and tested.
The result of the test was that she was poisoned by another female who though she wanted to take over her boyfriend. The money I had which was to pay my fees, I had to pay for her expenses for health and she recovered again.
When she came back to health, she was thankful, today she is one of my best friend though she repaid back the money and I was thankful too. She regreted that she never listened to me.
I had to take contacts of the Nurse who handled to health and we are also friends too.
Thanks for reading, I wish you a happy new week.
