What physical activity boosts your confidence and makes you feel the happiest? How often do you do it? Feel free to share some photos (or even a video) of you doing it.
I'm taking the second question, let me express myself to everyone in the community and this is my first post to this community.
By 5 a.m. every morning my body is very much ready for a workout and I do it six days out of seven days a week.
The feeling I get from early morning exercise can't be compared to anything, it makes me feel so confident in myself and very happy.
Two years ago I stopped working out and I started getting sick almost every week, so many inflammatory issues started developing in my system and I always visit the hospital.
One day I met a doctor who took my history and from my medical history he found out that I stopped my morning routine which I had been doing over the years, he told me that I should gradually resume my body workout,
I resumed at first I could only do maybe twenty jumping jacks and I would get tired, I was consistent and gradually I Increased, now every morning I do 150 jumping jacks, 150 squats, and 50 press-ups, then in the evening I will go for 12000 steps brisk walking for heart health, gradually am building stronger muscle and more strength that gives me confidence, and I have loss lots of weight.
Pain results in happiness.
At first, I feel lots of pain especially during press up and squat, my focus is on the lasting result not on the temporary pain so I keep pushing till I complete my count on each set.
If you have ever tried a constant workout you will understand the joy and feelings of fulfilment that come with it, that's the best thing I can do for my body.
Another great thing about early morning workout is the fact that it gets me ready for the day's activities and helps me remain active all through, it helps me reduce procrastinating, it helps me to manage stress, it has also helped to improve my sleep, immediately I hug my pillow I sleep off because I have taken off all the toxins that prevent or delay sleep.
Exercise also helps me mentally, it increases my mental well-being and helps me remain calm in the midst of a crisis.
A morning workout routine is not just for a weight loss journey, but it also helps in various ways and can benefit anyone who tries it out.
Yes, it's not easy, self-discipline is essential to achieve consistency and gain the happiness and confidence that result from a full-body workout.
