A new touch to my look! Homemade and inexpensive changes!

Beautiful friends of Hive, I hope you are having a wonderful day! Today I'm sharing with you a homemade makeover... hehe, some of you know that... it's not the first time I do something like this! Hehehe.

I clarify from the photos, that to do this I have to brush my hair, and as I have half curls, well, the brush doesn't make a very nice effect, haha.

The first time I tried to change my hair colour by myself I was 16 years old and I wanted to be blonde like Madonna, haha. Today I look at that teenager (that me) and with a lot of love I tell her... "beautiful... what an illusion! "hehehe. Of course, at that time I only had 2 very big jars of hair bleach that I applied one after the other.

Un toque nuevo en mi look! Cambios caseros y económicos!

Amigos hermosos de Hive, espero que estén pasando un día precioso!! Hoy les comparto un cambio de look casero… jeje, algunos saben que… no es la primera vez que hago algo así! Jejejej.

Aclaro por las fotos, que para hacer esto tengo que cepillarme el pelo, y como tengo medio rulos, bueno, el cepillo no hace un efecto muy lindo la verdad, jaja.

La primera vez que intenté cambiarme el color de pelo yo solita tenía 16 años y yo quería ser rubia como Madonna, jaja. Hoy miro a aquella adolescente (aquella yo) y con mucho amor le digo… “bonita… qué ilusa! “ jejej. Claro, yo en ese entonces solo había conseguido 2 tarros muy grandes de decolorante para el cabello que me puse uno tras otro.

I had to go to the hairdresser, where I got the shade to my colour, and then I started getting highlights and highlights. It was quite fun.

In the process I also dyed my hair myself, especially when I got tired of the colours and bought a medium brown (a bit darker than my hair), so that with washing it would look like my colour.

El resultado fue un naranja zanahoria tremendo, jajaja.

Tuve que ir a la peluquería, donde me llevaron el tono a mi color, y luego empecé a hacerme clarito y reflejos. Algo bastante divertido.

En el proceso también me fui tiñendo yo misma, en especial cuando me cansaba de los colores y me compraba un castaño medio (un poco más oscuro que mi cabello), para que con los lavados quedara como mi color.

The last time I went to a hairdresser for colour was in 2022, when I was in Italy, and it was so expensive and they did it SO badly, that in two days I was already putting another colour on top of it.

Although I didn't love what I did, I liked it better than the hairdresser's work, and in the end with good care and washing, I got a shade that made me feel very comfortable.

La última vez que fui a una peluquería para color fue en 2022, cuando estaba en Italia, y me salió tan caro y me lo hicieron TAN mal, que en dos días yo ya me estaba poniendo otro color encima.

Aunque lo que me hice no me encantó, me gustó más que el trabajo de la peluquera, y al final con un buen cuidado y con los lavados, me quedó un tono que me hizo sentir muy cómoda.

Where I'm living, in Ibiza, going to the hairdresser just for colour costs €200 and upwards, and the truth is that I find it very expensive! Here the salaries are higher than in the rest of Spain, but the cost of living is much more expensive, and especially services like nails, hairdressing, massages, and so on, are very, very expensive, because they are aimed at English, Dutch, American, German, French tourists (and all those with high purchasing power).

So... I decided to buy the hair dye I used in 2022, the Loreal 8,11, which costs almost €8,00 at the hairdresser's shop.

It was a good choice.

This time, instead of putting it all over my head, I took several strands and dyed them little by little. I just wanted a change and some movement in my hair.

I actually quite liked the way it turned out. Although I know that the colour will "settle" in about 2 more washes, for the moment, I'm pretty happy with it.

En donde estoy viviendo, en Ibiza, ir a la peluquería sólo para color tiene un valor de €200 para arriba, y la verdad es que me parece carísimo!! Aquí los salarios son más elevados que en el resto de España, pero el costo de vida es mucho más caro, y en especial servicios como uñas, peluquería, masajes, y demás, son muy pero muy costosos, porque apuntan al turista inglés, holandés, Estadounidense, alemán, francés (y a todos los que tienen un alto poder adquisitivo).

Así que… decidí comprarme la tintura que usé en 2022, la de Loreal 8,11, que cuesta casi €8,00 en la peluquería.

Fue un acierto.

Esta vez, en lugar de colocarla en toda mi cabeza, tomé varias mechas y las fui tiñendo poco a poco. Yo quería solo un cambio y algo de movimiento en mi cabello.

La verdad es que me gustó bastante cómo me quedó. Aunque sé que el color se va a “asentar” en unas 2 lavadas más, por el momento, estoy bastante conforme.
