In addressing the above question we shall briefly look at what birth control mean. A Birth control is a control measure that is also known as contraception. It is the use of medicines, devices, or surgery to prevent pregnancy, while Family planning allows people to attain their desired number of children. It is also a means to determine the spacing of their pregnancies.
However, it can be achieved through the use of various means which include contraceptives, and natural methods of abstinence from sex during the ovulation period. There are many different types while some are reversible others are permanent depending on what the couple has decided.

There are various types of birth control
Permanent birth control: A process whereby a woman undergoes surgical procedures which make a woman who can ovulate unable to get pregnant. This type is irreversible
Implant: this is a process whereby a small rod is placed under the skin of the upper arm by a health expert to prevent pregnancies
The shot: This is a process whereby an injection is given to the woman by medical expert of the in the arm or hip region that lasts for three months to prevent pregnancy.
The Virginal Ring: "This is a ring (flexible) that is inserted into the vagina each month for three weeks at a time that prevents pregnancy
The Pill / Condom: A pill is a medicine that is taken each day to prevent pregnancy while a female condom is used to prevent pregnancies.
There are various reasons why all women should have access to birth control and family planning.
The birth control pill given to women is a daily pill that contains hormones that helps to prevent unwanted pregnancy.
Women who undergo surgery need ample time to heal as such it helps them to heal while still having sex.
It helps improve the life span of women.
Birth control and family planning enable women to regain their health after delivery.
It gives the women enough time and opportunity to love and provide attention to their husbands and children.
It gives the woman more time for her family and enables her to own personal advancement.
When the woman is suffering from an illness, it gives enough time for treatment and recovery.

A lot of women are out there living another man's dreams while they should be doing exploits all in the name of childbearing or having unplanned children, a lot of women have also lost their lives due to unplanned or unwanted pregnancies. When a woman is not ready to have children she should explore the various types of birth control measures. Every woman deserves to achieve her dreams irrespective of her marital status and child bearing should not be an hindrance.
