How time flies! It is already halfway through September and starting next month, the last quarter of the year starts. There are still so much to do and goals to achieve for this year.
Looking back to January of this year, I remember the goals I had set during that time. I just sighed in disappointment of myself for not keeping these goals in mind and not doing enough to achieve it. Thankfully I am reminded of these goals by this week's Ladies of Hive prompt by .

We are already in September and soon it will be the last quarter of the year. Do you have a specific goal you want to achieve by the end of the year? Tell us about it and what you are doing or will do to achieve it.
I admit, I suck up in keeping my goals in mind. I don't have the proper mindset. It was smooth at the beginning when my mind was focused on the goal. Wheb I had high spirits believing I can tick off those square bullets on my goals list. But at this point I found myself at a dissapointment.
There are other reasons why I lost focus on my goals. In terms of financial goals, there are circumstances in life that we cannot avoid and we do not have control over that may hinder in achieving those goals. This year, my financial goals was greatly affected by this year' growing inflation as well as health issues that really ate up my budget and the plunging value of my crypto assets as this bear market pulled down my hopes of any gain. When it gets tough, I get discouraged and I lost the motivation to continue until I forget about it. Another reason is that I lack discipline and I am easily get persuaded to venture on other things not minding so much of the pros and cons. In the past, there were decisions I regretted so much because of my recklessness.

But it isnt' too late. I still have the the last quarter of this year to reavisit my goals and may revise it in a way that it can be achievable for the next three months.
One of the goals I listed was to increase my investment in mutual funds since I was eyeing for a long term investment. Sadly, I haven't been putting up my monthly contribution for it for months already. And now that I am reminded, I guess I'll start putting up again next month maybe in smaller amount diligently until the end of the year and for the next year I will reasses myself and find more effective ways to keep myself on track.

Cryptotrading. I am thinking of trading again. I stopped this year because I couldn't bear seeing my porfolio going down to less than 50%. 🥺 But this time I wanted to try again and equip my self with more knowledge and techniques. Gladly I found a bunch of people who can help and me and guide me on how to do it. I'll try again this time and hopefully I can pull it off.
I also wanted to make vegetable garden. I wanted to grow my own food. I had already a sack of mixed soil ready andand other gardening materials. All I need are good seeds to plant and time to do it. It is ready hard for me to find time since I am working during the weekdays and during the weekends I had to take care of my kids.

Taking care of my health has become my priority too. I planned to start with cardio exercises this year. I already saved some videos of these types of exercises and all I need really is to start. I planned to allot 30 minutes everyday. Drinking more water too is part of this healthier journey. I am not a heavy water drinker. And I can already feel the bad effects on my health due this habit. I need to drink more water and to remind me everyday, I download an app to remind me everytime its is time to drink water.
I acknowledge that what can fail me in achieving my goals is not any of the outside factors but myself alone. So when setting goals to achieviing it, I believe the success lies in the power of the mind. Proper mindset throughout the process is the key. This I will also be working on within myself. It is never too late to achieve our goals.
