After two years, the virus got us aswell. We were in fear of the virus so long that catching it and not feeling side effects or feeling bad, is a surprise.

This is not a blog about getting vacxed or not, getting into arguments about pro or con, it’s a message from me. Another blog from me as a daily blogger. A truth as it happened. A thing in the world we all have and get to deal with sooner or later I think, not good though. The word that it’s a “thing” is because it is. And it will , can and is different for everyone. First I didn’t want to share, but than I dropped in discord and refereerde to it in blogs just to be like I always say, true to my library of life. True to the things that happen in our lives ( me and my families life that is ) because what’s on the Blockchain stays on the Blockchain! This has happened and is ok not great but I am fine, and no side effects ( yet )
Before leaving for the ski trip we pcr’ed because off the rules to enter the borders. And after travelling to Austria, we did test and tested negative but with the new variant it’s advised to test PCR after returning aswell. We did because the new variant is more a throat thing virus than we had with the former ones. That test came back positive for us. For all of us, and the little one got tested twice because of a negative first.

At the Dutch GGD we tested PCR and this is the email I got:

The members of your household, children included, must also stay home and not receive visitors.
The members of your household can fill out a short questionnaire at informatiehulp.rivm.nl. This will give them a clear overview of the rules of behaviour they must stick to, for example quarantine and testing.
You can also forward the following online letter to the members of your household: lci.rivm.nl/covid-19-huisgenoten-EN.How should you inform your contacts?
It is important to inform your contacts. By doing so, you can help stop further spread of the virus. Due to the high number of people infected, the GGD cannot help you in finding out which contacts have possibly been infected with the coronavirus.
The folder ‘Prevent the spread of COVID-19: inform your contacts’ helps to identify your close contacts. The folder is attached to this e-mail. You can find the English translation below the Dutch text.

Call or message the people on your list. Tell them that you have corona and that they are a close contact.
Your contacts can fill out a short questionnaire at informatiehulp.rivm.nl. This will show them the rules they need to follow, for example quarantine and testing.

How do you activate the CoronaMelder-app?
Do you have the CoronaMelder-app? And was this app operational before your test appointment? You can activate the app yourself with the GGD-key found in the test results on coronatest.nl. If you are called by the GGD, the employee can help you activate the app.
Extra information
Are you a healthcare worker? Then talk to your employer or company doctor.
Are you an employee or a child at a childcare facility, primary school or secondary school? Then inform the school or childcare facility that you have corona. They will call the GGD, and the GGD will tell the childcare workers, teachers and children what they should do.
Call your doctor at once if you get serious symptoms such as shortness of breath or a high fever or if you feel sicker. Call 112 if the situation is life-threatening.

Don't book a new test while you are in isolation. You cannot shorten your isolation period with a negative test result.

and proof that you are definitely have covid 19. Strange thing in Holland is that it doesn’t state what virus kind you have. The Delta or Omnicrom. I have no clue why that isn’t done in Holland. So no need to guess,
I / We have it and that is that.
We caught the virus somewhere while travelling to or in Austria possibly, with this virus you cannot tell exactly when and where but the fact that we were with our family and not with others, is why we now all tested positive and are indeed isolated. Also the fact we did not see people helped. And we contacted the ones we saw but didn’t were close to. Just in case. Nobody tested positive so no fears there. The fact that kids were in school was for a short time because here the kids are schooled online again. Also because of the amount of positive cases both among teachers and children. All school online from home. So no problem there. Although online classes are more bad than physical school in my opinion.
So 4 school-workstations in the house. It’s do able. The kids have a hard time after the 2 weeks holiday , 2 weeks pre advanced home school and this quarantine. The fact that they can’t play with their friends and go to soccer practice is the hardest for them, but they understand. And what is a week? We are thankful for a good home and a roof above our heads and that they can go online and talk with friends and play games. Books and games are also on the table so that we as a family join in and have good times just amongs us. Like we always do, making memories even when times are “bad” ( I like to see out of the normal, but covid is almost normal because we talk about it everywhere) we do what we have to do. And so should you, stay safe and do what you can.
We are alright, groceries are brought to the door, by friends and my mum. We have untill Monday, and we will survive. My hart goes out to the people that have severe problems and or are maybe in hospital due to the green monster we have among us. And to all people taking care of the sick Ofcourse. Last night the new Dutch parlement and the prime minister gave the new rules for us Dutchies in a press conference. It’s a lot and I am glad I am not in their shoes. I see Spain and England and how it’s done there. Even in Belgium, but I am not an expert. I have caught it and I am ok. Vacced to the max so maybe that’s it. Or just that I am healthy enough to counter the monster, I don’t know.
Only thing I know is that I can survive by sticking to the rules and making sure I Stay away from others and don’t give it to other people. Eventually we must concur the covid monster and live our lives again like before.
I got fruit and veggies, flowers , a orchid branch and a card, isn’t that sweet aswell. Stay strong readers.

Después de dos años, el virus también nos atrapó. Tuvimos tanto miedo al virus que atraparlo y no sentir efectos secundarios o sentirse mal es una sorpresa.

Este no es un blog sobre vacunarse o no, entrar en discusiones sobre pro o contra, es un mensaje mío. Otro blog mío como blogger diario. Una verdad como sucedió. Creo que una cosa en el mundo que todos tenemos y con la que nos enfrentamos tarde o temprano, aunque no es buena. La palabra que es una "cosa" es porque lo es. Y será, puede y es diferente para todos. Primero no quería compartir, pero luego me metí en discordia y lo referí en blogs solo para ser como siempre digo, fiel a mi biblioteca de vida. Fiel a las cosas que suceden en nuestras vidas (la vida de mi familia y yo) porque lo que está en Blockchain se queda en Blockchain. Esto ha sucedido y está bien, no es genial, pero estoy bien y no tengo efectos secundarios (todavía)
Antes de partir para el viaje de esquí, nos pusimos fuera de las reglas para ingresar a las fronteras. Y después de viajar a Austria, hicimos la prueba y dimos negativo, pero con la nueva variante se recomienda probar la PCR después de regresar también. Lo hicimos porque la nueva variante es más un virus de garganta que las anteriores. Esa prueba nos dio positivo. Para todos nosotros, y el pequeño se hizo la prueba dos veces porque primero dio negativo.

y prueba de que definitivamente tienes covid 19. Lo extraño en Holanda es que no dice qué tipo de virus tienes. El Delta u Omnicrom. No tengo ni idea de por qué eso no se hace en Holanda. Así que no hay necesidad de adivinar,
Yo / Nosotros lo tenemos y eso es todo.
Cogimos el virus en algún lugar mientras viajábamos hacia o en Austria posiblemente, con este virus no se puede saber exactamente cuándo y dónde, pero el hecho de que estábamos con nuestra familia y no con otros, es la razón por la que ahora todos dimos positivo y estamos aislados. También ayudó el hecho de que no vimos gente. Y nos pusimos en contacto con los que vimos pero no estábamos cerca. Por si acaso. Nadie dio positivo, así que no hay miedo allí. El hecho de que los niños estuvieran en la escuela fue por poco tiempo porque aquí los niños están escolarizados en línea nuevamente. También por la cantidad de casos positivos tanto entre docentes como entre niños. Toda la escuela en línea desde casa. Así que no hay problema allí. Aunque las clases online son más malas que la escuela física en mi opinión.
Entonces 4 estaciones de trabajo escolares en la casa. Es factible. Los niños lo pasan mal después de las 2 semanas de vacaciones, las 2 semanas previas a la escuela en casa avanzada y esta cuarentena. El hecho de que no puedan jugar con sus amigos e ir a la práctica de fútbol es lo más difícil para ellos, pero lo entienden. ¿Y qué es una semana? Estamos agradecidos por un buen hogar y un techo sobre nuestras cabezas y que puedan conectarse y hablar con amigos y jugar. Libros y juegos también están sobre la mesa para que en familia nos unamos y pasemos buenos momentos entre nosotros. Como siempre hacemos, haciendo recuerdos incluso cuando los tiempos son “malos” (me gusta ver fuera de lo normal, pero el covid es casi normal porque hablamos de eso en todas partes) hacemos lo que tenemos que hacer. Y tú también deberías, mantente a salvo y haz lo que puedas.
Estamos bien, los amigos y mi madre traen la compra a la puerta. Tenemos hasta el lunes, y sobreviviremos. Mi corazón está con las personas que tienen problemas graves o tal vez están en el hospital debido al monstruo verde que tenemos entre nosotros. Y a todas las personas que cuidan a los enfermos Por supuesto. Anoche, el nuevo parlamento holandés y el primer ministro dieron las nuevas reglas para nosotros, los holandeses, en una conferencia de prensa. Es mucho y me alegro de no estar en sus zapatos. Veo España e Inglaterra y cómo se hace allí. Incluso en Bélgica, pero no soy un experto. Lo he pillado y estoy bien. Vacío al máximo, así que tal vez eso es todo. O simplemente que estoy lo suficientemente sano como para contrarrestar al monstruo, no lo sé.
Lo único que sé es que puedo sobrevivir siguiendo las reglas y asegurándome de mantenerme alejado de los demás y no dárselo a otras personas. Eventualmente, debemos concordar con el monstruo covid y vivir nuestras vidas nuevamente como antes.
