When on Sunday I see the new contest in the most pinkish community on reddish Hive, I always think I need to enter. But the last few months and even today time is a factor.
Today āour Max Verstappenā became world Grand Prix champion of the world for the second time, so we were up at 6.30 am and in front of the television with the family. Thatās why now at 21.10 pm I am finally sitting down to write a few words to reflected on the news that is the topic for this weeks contest. The ladies 103rd contest and still counting.
As a Dutchie I am not , and also my daughter is not familiar with the political retributions as mentioned in the news and in the blog here.
Holland is very easy in themed and the beliefs of women, men and anyone who does not find themselves under these names. We are open minded and very free in what we want and believe.
I am proud of that!
( this is about women, so the boys are left out, yet there are places in the world where boys and men, are also treated wrong ! )
I am an very independent women and together with my man we live a live of building dreams, living in freedom and getting out as much as we can, in the time that is given to us. Hopefully as many days as possible, hopefully healthy, here on Mother Earth, so I could not live under a repressed regime. Rules are needed but what is happening in some parts of the world is making my lady hart cry.
Only because of a scarf and a bit of beautiful hair. Because of that a mother lost her child, her little girl, a sister lost her sis and the world is robbed of a future gem that could have made a difference.

There are many initiatives here in Holland to show the family of Mahsa that they are not alone. Lady Politicians here are cutting pieces of hair, on Instagram I see many following that statement and posting reels about it. Its a start but we need a mindset to change, thats the one thing that can change the way some men think. A task needed but also the most difficult one that has been ānormalā for so long. I am against repression in every way. The news makes me sick and I pray for better times, and new ways of thinking of equality. That being said, and what I am accustomed to, I can say that I cannot live in that country, or a country that has the same beliefs.
Visiting such countries would only be if it was mandatory and with reason. Otherwise I would not.
How can we assist such women, who cannot afford to flee to a safe place? We need to stay alert and send the message to the world. We need to not forget. But Iran is not the only country. We have many ladies of hive in Ukraine living in war, we have Ladies in South America in trouble, I wish there was an solution for all the world problems, but I have no idea if this will ever be possible.
But it wonāt hurt to pray.

For all ladies of you reading this and having a hard time and feeling repressed , I hope for better days and equality. Stay strong and know that everywhere in the world there are ladies thinking about you and sending strength.
This is my hart felt entry to the 103rd contest of the ladies of Hive community.
The story has been in every news bulletin and newspaper ever since Mahsa was killed. wrote this to start of the contest today ;
On 13-Sep-2022, an Iranian woman (Mahsa Amini) was arrested for wearing her headscarf too loosely, which allowed a little of her hair to be visible. Witnesses attest that she was severely beaten while in police custody. At one point, she collapsed, but it was two hours later before police transported her to a hospital where it was noted that she had lapsed into a coma. The police claim she had a heart attack, but there were bruises on her body, head, and face. She died three days later, never awaking from her coma. And all this was because she was careless to allow a few strands of hair to show.
1ļøā£ What do you think about news of this sort? Do you think you could ever live in such a conservative society? Would you even consider briefly visiting such a country with such laws? How can we assist such women, who cannot afford to flee to a safe place?
