Hello there! It's me, Mae!
I hope you all are doing well. Nothing beats a fun shopping day with Mom and Sis.
We decided to go out for a little “sale hunting,” but it turned into quite an exhausting adventure — in the best way possible.
Our first stop was Novo, one of those stores that’s famous for affordable and wholesale items. You can find almost anything there — from kitchen supplies, cute household stuff, to random finds you didn’t even know you needed. Every time we go, there’s always a sale going on, and honestly, that’s the best part! So we thought, why not drop by and grab a few things we’ve been planning to buy for the kitchen?
The store was packed that day. Everywhere you looked, there were bright banners hanging from the ceiling, and people were busy checking prices, filling up baskets, and lining up at the counter. We walked through every aisle, compared prices, and looked for good deals. It felt like a full of things that mix of something I needed and wanted. But honestly, it was fun seeing how each of us had our own “finds.” Mom got some kitchen essentials, I grabbed a few small items for myself, and my little sister ended up getting the most — as usual!
After a couple of hours, our feet started to feel the ache, so we decided to head to Jollibee for lunch. Nothing hits better than a good meal after shopping! The baby was so happy when her food arrived — she couldn’t stop smiling while eating her burger steak and fries. Of course, I've had my favorite spicy chicken with rice.
When we finally got home, my little sister immediately tried on all the things we bought for her — her new hat, socks, and even sat proudly on the chair we just bought. She looked so pleased with herself that I couldn’t help but laugh. “Guess who’s the favorite child?” I teased. Ahahaha! But honestly, seeing her that happy made the day feel extra special.
By the time we were done unpacking, I realized how tiring but fulfilling the day had been. My feet hurt, my arms were sore from carrying bags, but my heart felt light. It wasn’t just about shopping — it was about the time we spent together. Days like this don’t happen all the time, so I’m really glad we made the most of it.
It was one of those simple days — fun, messy, exhausting. Yes, but if it means bonding with Mom and Sis, I’d do it all over again. 💕
Hoping to see you all again! Bye bye! ❤️
