Death is uncertain so let us appreciate and live life each day meaningfully and purposefully, especially birthdays.
A wavering hello to all the beautiful friends of the Hive! I hope you are well and in a good aura today. Know that wherever you are and whatever you are into at this moment, you are blessed and beautiful.
This is supposedly my entry to the weekly contest initiated by the Ladies of Hive community however, I ran out of time. I have been very occupied this week, I did not find enough time to blog and publish😅. Anyway, I have decided to finish this and publish it today. The topic and question that strikes me the most are "how would I want to celebrate my birthday if it is my last?" This one is a very tough question for a person who is not yet ready to die like me 😅. But death as said is unpredictable and I am privileged to share with you a dream birthday for myself.
I am the kind of person who doesn't pay for my birthdays so much attention. Since then, my birthdays were just ordinary days. I guess I got used to no cakes, no delicious food, no surprise dinner, and no gifts. Especially in the years when our family was financially challenged. What completes my birthday was to lit a few candles at the church.
But even so, I am also a person who always wishes for a dream birthday celebration and if it were my last, I would love to share it with you.
SPONSOR A RELIGIOUS MASS
If I had enough money in my pocket, I wish I could sponsor and offer a religious mass as my way of thanking the Creator for the life I borrowed. I want it to be attended by the people close to my heart, my parents and siblings, my family, my students, colleagues, and friends. If it's gonna be my last birthday, I wish to celebrate it meaningfully.
FOOD AND CAKES
I wish I could offer a feeding activity to all the kids in our place or distribute nutritious and delicious food packs to all the students in school on my birthday. It is always fulfilling to spread kindness even for the last time.
PS. As much as I want to include photos of cakes here, I don't have any pictures of myself with a cake.😅
A CHURCH WEDDING
Yes, you read it right. If it's my last birthday, I wish to have a church wedding. And yes, I am happily married for 5 years now and I am proud that I and my husband had a civil wedding. However, I also dream to wear a gorgeous white gown and exchanging vows with my husband in a church 🥰.
A QUICK ROMANTIC ESCAPE WITH MY HUSBAND
Since we got married and had children, we never had a chance to go out and had a romantic escape. I want to spend my last birthday with him in a beautiful place.
PLAYING MY FAVORITE MUSICAL INSTRUMENT
When I became a mother, I did not find the time to string my guitar anymore. Something that I missed so much. Back then, when I had free time, it was my pastime pill for a guitar session. But now that I am a mother of two, free time is a sacred time to take a nap and recharge. I am not a pro at playing it but I could play some songs and sing along.
ALL NIGHT KARAOKE WITH FAMILY
Our family loves to sing. We love singing with karaoke. When the karaoke is on, it sticks us all together. If it's my last birthday, I would love to see my family and relatives come together and spend the whole night happily.
ONE LAST MOTORCYCLE RIDE AND STROLL AROUND
My family, the source of my inspiration, motivation, and aspirations. Strolling around with the motorcycle is one thing we love to do to spend quality time with our children. It doesn't matter where we go as long as we're together, it is the most special moment in my life.
After writing this blog, I come to realize that death exists to remind us that life is beautiful and worthy to live for. We only die once, we live every day. So, let us live the most every day with the people we love and care about. Death is uncertain, don't wait for your next birthday to do what you want. Do it now if you can🥰!
That's all for today Hive friends! I hope you have something to ponder from this post and relate to some. See you on my next blog 😍. Sending my best regards and my warm big hugs.
