So The madness begins!! The grocery store around the corner from my house opens at 7am. I wanted to get my bulk ingredient shopping over and done with as early in the day as possible so I can start baking biscuits this afternoon!
I am definitely not a morning person and deserve a Noddy badge for this! did show up halfway through shopping to help me, so that was totally awesome β€οΈ
The other half of the shopping, for packaging (And cocoa, baking chocolate and edible glitter snow) I will do tomorrow morning. I've preordered, so I hope my order will be ready! The retail shop is about 5km from me and I shop there often. They do have a website and a main warehouse, but I've decided to deal with the shop directly since I know the staff!
I have also decided to buy myself another springform tin, as my other one has warped and is leading to leakage all over the oven. If I line it with baking paper, like I should, it doesn't leak, but having something so important that doesn't work properly is not going to be helpful to me!
It's so easy to fall down the rabbit hole and get lost in options for packaging, dΓ©cor and products,
so I've decided to keep it simple with black and white theme to match the white and dark cholate biscuits and vanilla and chocolate cakes and cupcakes.
I've also thought about dΓ©cor and since I've gotten quite good at piping, if I may say so myself (and with the help of a professional piping gun) and the chocolate/ vanilla swirl on the cupcakes ad cakes already looks amazing! I'll be sticking to Cadbury's limited edition bunny chocolate and edible glitter snow.

I will be selling a limited amount of Easter Goodies and I am so excited to get Claire's Crazy Cakes, Bakes and Kitchen Hacks off the ground with this special festive season, where chocolate and sweet treats are the order of the day!
I have attempted multilayer cakes before, but this time I will be building record 8 layer, Twice as Nice Easter Cakes for sale per whole cake and per slice!
I will also be making Twice as Nice Cupcakes which I have done before for one of the kid's birthdays, so I know how yummy they are! I'll be selling these in batches of 6.
I got the idea for the Twice as Nice concept from my favourite soft serve ice-cream which is a half chocolate/ half vanilla swirl. Why choose one when you can have the best of both worlds?
The cookies will be dunked in dark chocolate and white chocolate and sold in batches of 12!
Today I will finalize the pricelist open orders and start the biscuit baking, which I am sure I will post about later!
