For BrittandJosie's Christmas Ornaments Contest: Hive Ball 3, the Dreemy Ball!

So, even for an experienced fractal artist, this concept was a challenge ... creating "dream steam" for Hive account@dreemsteem, Hive's resident captain of Dreemport ...

I met Hive account@dreemsteem back when Hive's predecessor was a thing ... she put me up for a writing award in the Freewriters community that launched me into doing extra content that, 17 days later, ended up becoming THIS:

That's my fourth published book, with its own little website nowadays ... but it all started because Hive account@dreemsteem put me up to getting the award that caused me to write that!

But what nobody knew in July 2019 was that time and tide would flow wide and Hive's predecessor would fork twice and some would scatter to other blockchains that turned out to be sinking ships ... and so Hive account@dreemsteem became Captain Dreemsteem and went into the choppy seas of social earning blockchain and rescued folks and brought them not just safely to Hive, but also created Dreemport, an initiative in which readers and writers work together to support one another.

Meanwhile, some individual who will NOT be receiving a ball dedicated to them mess up back then and told me about Hive's predecessor: "You can't make a living on it!" He was right about Hive's predecessor, perhaps ... but between Black, White, and RED All Over's growing success and having the confidence to come throw down on Hive as a writer and artist, it now has come to the point that Hive kept me alive through the pandemic, and the combo may well afford me a nice portion of a living at least part of next year -- and it was Hive account@dreemsteem who launched me in that directions along with Freewriters (who will be getting their ball soon enough)!

The challenge with this ball was the concept of "dream steam" -- this took overlaying two things made in Apophysis 2.09, one harder to make than the other!

Of course, we started with Hive account@brittandjosie's template for the ornament:

Then, Apophysis 2.09 made me a failed true ball, but I kept it because it was beautiful ...

And then I thought, "Well, Hive account@dreemsteem definitely has heart, so, if I use that as the back and then add a nearly white transparent fractal swirl heart, if I can just get it round enough ...

The problem there became that it wasn't a sphere and overlapped the form dramatically, but, on white, the excess just leaves the idea that the "dream steam" is swirling off the ball, filling the room with the scent of clean sea air, honey from the Hive, and of course, peace and goodwill toward all honest Hivers and adjacent blockchain writers everywhere!
