I have always loved food. Food is a gift and I don’t play with it. From young till date, I don’t remember a single event that kept me from food (except from scarce finances), not even a broken heart and I did get my heart broken quite a lot.
It was always a joy when I saw food. It still is. It’s always beautiful to eat and when I enter that phase in that time of the month where I can’t eat food as heartily as I want, it’s painful. I like to eat. I like to watch Mukbang videos because the joy of watching people eat is a different level of satisfaction. This is why I opened a restaurant.
Well, it’s not the “WHY” but food is always easy to sell for me. It’s something I like to indulge in and trust me that I like to feed others too. Our restaurant couldn’t stand the test of time though (and Nigeria) but it’s not the end. It’s something I will do when all resources are available and I’ll do it bigger and better.
To answer the question from the prompt (in case you missed it), what I would do and want to do is sell food. Cuisines, fast foods, snacks, and all you can make. I want to be the pit stop to a burst of flavours, known for tradition and the new. Food is exciting. Trying new kinds of things is too.
I follow a bunch of YouTubers whose jobs basically comprises of travelling the world to eat. Name a better job. It’s not something I’d do for a living but definitely something I want to do in my free time. Eat! Because food is timeless way through which culture, stories and history remains preserved. It is priceless.
