During the Venezuelan Christmas holidays there is usually a lot of delicious food, there are the hallacas with different variations, which each family makes according to their taste and the region where they live, the black cake of course is not a dish originally from Venezuela but it has been adapted although it is no longer made as much as before, there is also the pernil which is the leg of pork that like the hallacas each family has its own way of preparing it, and the ham bread.
Ham bread is not a food in itself but it is what I love to eat the most, there are infinite variations, but I really like the traditional one with bacon, ham, olives and raisins, that combination of flavors makes my taste buds feel happy.

Durante las fiestas decembrinas generalmente la pasamos en casa en familia haciendo todo lo concerniente para la cena de noche y fin de año, pero si me preguntan **¿Le gusta viajar durante las vacaciones o quedarse cerca de casa?**
Mi respuesta sin lugar a dudas es viajar, es uno de los deseos que tengo y aún no he cumplido salir del sitio de donde siempre paso las navidades, aunque confieso que los dos últimos años lo pase en sitios distintos a la casa de mis padres donde siempre nos reunimos en familia.
Pero anhelo viajar en estas fechas para hacer algo distinto, algo diferente, compartir en otro lugar por ejemplo pasar las festividades en la playa cerca del mar, sin tantos fuegos artificiales, ni el ruido de la pirotecnia que se escucha en esta época del año.
¿Cuál es tu comida favorita durante las fiestas y por qué?
En las fiestas navideñas venezolanas suele haber mucha comida deliciosa están las hallacas con diferentes variantes, que cada familia las hace de acuerdo a su gusto y la región donde vive, la torta negra claro no es plato originario de Venezuela para sea ido adaptando aunque ya no se hace tanto como antes, también está el pernil que es la pierna del cerdo que al igual que las hallacas cada familia tiene su manera de prepararlo, y el pan de jamón.
El pan de jamón no es una comida en sí pero es lo que más me encanta comer existen infinidades de variantes, pero a me gusta mucho el tradicional con tocineta, jamón, aceituna y pasas esa combinación de sabores hace que mis papilas gustativas se sientan dichosas.
