Esta semana la comunidad de Ladies of Hive nos propone responder dos preguntas, donde la primera para mi concepto es un poco controversial si consideramos las diferentes cosas que pueden ser bellas, en fin, vamos directo a las preguntas.

1. ¿Por qué crees que la sociedad da tanta importancia a la belleza cuando no tiene ningún propósito funcional?

Considero que lo que se cataloga en la sociedad como belleza son muchas veces algo completamente artificial, y para ello coloco como ejemplo los concursos de belleza que se basan en rostros reconstruidos por las cirugías estéticas, que realmente son pocas las concursantes que asisten a estos concursos internacionales que no tengan unas cuantas cirugías estéticas.

Y realmente no tienen ningún propósito funcional para ello es simplemente para satisfacer egos personales, porque la verdad la sociedad no se beneficia de esas supuestas bellezas que se exhiben en los concursos, creo el propósito es para unas cuantas firmas de cosméticos para vender sus productos que promocionan este tipo de eventos de belleza artificial.

Posiblemente en esos eventos de belleza pueden existir bellas muchachas por su personalidad, pero eso no es lo relevante en esos eventos donde se valora la belleza sin ningún propósito funcional.

2. ¿En qué trabajo serias absolutamente terrible?

Creo que el único trabajo en el cual seria absolutamente terrible es en alguno que tenga que ver con sangramientos o algo por el estilo, pero no la profesión de enfermera o medico como tal.

Digo que no es ser enfermera porque ellas pueden desempeñarse en diferentes áreas, y aquí me viene el recuerdo que cuando estaba pequeña mi hermana mayor era supervisora de un gran hospital público, por lo cual cuando trabajaba por las noches yo la acompañaba y realizaba con ella todo el recorrido de supervisión por todo el hospital en los diferentes pisos de servicios de hospitalización y no pasaba nada.

Pero estando muy joven empecé a notar que no podía ver sangre en una persona, y recuerdo que una señora vecina de mi casa, cuando era muy joven, se corto en un brazo y no pude verla sentía que me mareaba; unos años después me paso lo mismo cuando mi cuñada me enseño la herida de la cesárea, casi me mareo, todavía estaba soltera.

Por eso cualquier tipo de trabajo que tenga que atender pacientes con heridas, operaciones y similares, no lo podría atender porque lo más seguro es que me mareo y sería otra paciente más, jajaja; nada más ver una foto que contenga sangre se me crispa el cuerpo.

I consider that what is catalogued in society as beauty are many times something completely artificial, and for this I place as an example the beauty contests that are based on faces reconstructed by aesthetic surgeries, that really are few contestants who attend these international contests that do not have a few aesthetic surgeries.

And they really have no functional purpose for it is simply to satisfy personal egos, because the truth is that society does not benefit from these supposed beauties that are exhibited in the contests, I think the purpose is for a few cosmetic firms to sell their products that promote this type of artificial beauty events.

Possibly in those beauty events there may be beautiful girls for their personality, but that is not what is relevant in those events where beauty is valued without any functional purpose.

2. What job would you be absolutely terrible at?

I think the only job I would be absolutely terrible at is one that has to do with bleeding or something like that, but not the nursing or medical profession as such.

I say it is not being a nurse because they can work in different areas, and here I remember when I was little my older sister was a supervisor in a large public hospital, so when she worked at night I would go with her and I would go with her all the way around the hospital to the different floors of the hospital and nothing would happen.

But being very young I began to notice that I could not see blood in a person, and I remember that a lady neighbor of my house, when I was very young, cut her arm and I could not see her I felt dizzy; a few years later the same thing happened to me when my sister-in-law showed me the wound of the caesarean section, I almost got dizzy, I was still single.

That is why I could not attend any type of work that has to attend patients with wounds, operations and similar, because I would most likely get dizzy and I would be just another patient, hahaha; just seeing a picture with blood in it makes my body twitch.
