Me, sporting the latest fashion in neck wear
I wrote about my surgery a month ago in case you are interested:

Return to life after neck surgery. At last the day came for me to have my check up which started at the Physiotherapist.
I had been given a list of exercises which I was very good and did as I was told, doing them twice a day. Excellent you would think. Not so when you discover you had been doing something wrong twice a day for six weeks and three days. Apparently two of the exercises were not meant to have been done as they involved me removing the neck brace and dropping my chin into my neck , which I did think seemed a bit weird. The one most important rule you broke she said in shock, ‘why didn’t you phone and ask?.
I would have if I had not been specifically given them to do, illustrations and all Well I felt thoroughly terrified as I had then to go and be Xrayed. What if???? Luckily all was good and doc was not even concerned by my mistake.
So I need to wean myself off the brace and I can go back to golf and anything I used to do in a weeks time. The most important and truly desired thing I will choose to do is visit the hairdresser as I have not seen one in two to three months.
My passport photo no longer resembles me and I have to get back home to Eswatini through the border. My only word of advice on neck surgery is to do it in winter to avoid the unpleasantness of a sweaty brace.
