A good friend of ours, who has supported us for years, kept saying: ".... oh, what would it be nice if the children got something ...... a doll or a ball .. .. "We bought groceries for six months, that was simply more important and it would not have been possible to buy toys because the shops were closed because of the lockdown. But we promised him that we would do it someday. A couple from our circle of friends noticed this and immediately said that they wanted to participate. Then Milica's house collapsed and the question arose again for all of us whether we'd rather take the money for it. As you can see, we decided to spend the money that was intended for the toy on it.
So today was the day! Our friend and loyal helper Mackie organized everything.
When I got the pictures, I was very moved and tears ran through the videos.
Today is Christmas for these children!

Ein guter Freund von uns, der uns seit Jahren unterstützt, hat immer wieder gesagt: "....ach, was wäre es doch schön, wenn die Kinder mal etwas bekommen würden......eine Puppe oder einen Ball...." Sechs Monate haben wir Lebensmittel gekauft, das war einfach wichtiger und es wäre auch garnicht möglich gewesen, Spielzeug zu kaufen, weil wegen des Lockdowns die Geschäfte geschlossen waren. Aber wir haben ihm versprochen, daß wir das mal irgendwann machen werden. Ein Paar aus unserem Freundeskreis hat das mitbekommen und sofort gesagt, daß sie mitmachen wollen. Dann kam der Zusammenbruch von Milicas Haus und es stellte sich schon wieder für uns alle die Frage, ob wir das Geld lieber dafür nehmen. Wie ihr seht, haben wir uns dazu entschlossen, das Geld, welches für das Spielzeug gedacht war, auch dafür auszugeben.
Heute war es also soweit! Unsere Freundin und treue Helferin Mackie hat alles organisiert.
Als ich die Bilder bekommen habe, war ich ganz gerührt und bei den Videos liefen dann die Tränchen.
Für diese Kinder ist heute schon Weihnachten!
