¡Hola queridas Damas de Hive! Hoy me paso por acá para participar de las preguntas de la semana de la mano de 
Hobby Crush: la mayoría de nosotros tenemos pasatiempos a los que dedicamos poco o más tiempo, pero hay pasatiempos que admiramos que otros hacen. ¿Cuál es ese pasatiempo que te gustaría poder hacer también para divertirte y por qué no puedes adoptarlo en tu tiempo libre?
Uh, tengo muchísimos pasatiempos que admiro que hacen los demás. Uno de ellos es tejer a crochet, hice algunas pocas creaciones en algún momento y por eso creo que no se me daría tan mal, no más me falta práctica, pero también es cierto que no le dedico el tiempo necesario. Un poco es por vergüenza, acá se tiende mucho a querer monetizar cualquier actividad que uno haga y la verdad es que me gustaría realizarlo como un hobby, del cual disfrute y sea divertido para pasar el tiempo. Así como también amo leer. Pero bueno, sé que tendría esa presión extra de que si hago algo lindo me digan que debería hacer más para vender y eso es motivo suficiente para no querer hacerlo, aunque sí me gustaría seguir explorando. Las veces que tejí algunos diseños de amigurumis siguiendo patrones en internet me quedaron bastantes decentes, pero los hice a escondidas. Bueno, en algún momento dejaré de esconderme y voy a realizarlos porque me gustan. Ahora que lo escribo se me hace una excusa tonta, pero es lo que soy.
Otro pasatiempo que admiro y me encantaría aprender es la costura, pero ahí el impedimento es no tener una máquina de coser. Pero es algo que me gustaría, así que tal vez me compré alguna en cuanto lo decida. Estaría genial arreglarme mi propia ropa o hacer algunos diseños por mi cuenta con las telas que me gusten. Como verán, me gustan las manualidades en general, en el mismo orden también entran pintar, dibujar y demás cuestiones que intento realizar cuando tengo algún tiempo libre y ganas de desconectar un rato de las pantallas.

Hobby Crush: Most of us have hobbies we spend little or more time doing, but there are hobbies we admire others do. What is that one hobby you wish you could do for fun, too, and why can't you adopt it for your free time?
Uh, there are so many hobbies that I admire when other people do them. One of them is crocheting; I made a few things at one point, so I don’t think I’d be too bad at it—I just need more practice. But it’s also true that I don’t dedicate enough time to it. Part of it is because I’m shy—here, there’s a strong tendency to want to monetize any activity you do, and the truth is that I’d like to do it as a hobby, something I enjoy and find fun to pass the time. Just like I love reading. But anyway, I know I’d have that extra pressure that if I make something nice, people would tell me I should make more to sell, and that’s reason enough not to want to do it, even though I’d still like to keep exploring it. The times I’ve crocheted some amigurumi designs following patterns online, they turned out pretty decent, but I did them in secret. Well, at some point I’ll stop hiding and I’ll make them because I like them. Now that I’m writing this, it seems like a silly excuse, but that’s just who I am.
Another hobby I admire and would love to learn is sewing, but the problem is that I don’t have a sewing machine. Still, it’s something I’d really like to do, so maybe I’ll buy one as soon as I make up my mind. It would be great to alter my own clothes or create my own designs using fabrics I like. As you can see, I like crafts in general; that also includes painting, drawing, and other things I try to do when I have some free time and want to disconnect from screens for a while.
