Hello, dear Hivers! โ๏ธ๐ฌ๏ธ
The winter in Poland has struck truly hard, which has its benefits, but as it turned out, not exactly for me.
At the beginning of the year, on one of the pleasant evenings, I was hit by a car while crossing. Fortunately enough, not with high speed, but my ribs are broken, probably some spinal discs, but Arya is safe and sound.
After two shots of morphine, I was feeling a little bit better, so the paramedics and I were singing Taylor's "Ophelia"
I immiedately was immediately taken to the ER, but after an hour of waiting at the ambulance (they didn't let me in, as they had clean up after homeless people), I spent 12 hours there with no water, without a blanket and thrown away to the unheated corridor.
They were also supposed to take me to the hospital afterwards, I've been told so, but as it turned out, they couldn't. Reason? They took those homeless people who got into a fight, who just got to the ER before me. So I was sent away to my home with nothing, only a basic X-ray scan. Thankfully, I pay for private medical insurance, so after picked me up, we rushed to the doctor, where I was treated like a proper human being.
Lovely proof of me, shaking with cold without the blanket at the ER, I covered myself with my puff jacket, as the nurse told me so ๐คช
After a couple of days, my dad came to pick me up and drove to the family home in Rzeszรณw, where I spent most of the two weeks with my parents, friends and family. Arya was so happy because she loves the snow, and she could run around the garden for most of the day. I also took her for short walks.
Thankfully I feel a little better, as I can walk rather normally, but I still need to rest sometimes during the day. But that accident completely changed my plans. I have to reschedule my winter exams at uni, since from the beginning of January I didn't do so much work, I can't work at the stable, I can't ride, so I also have to postpone my riding exam and riding competitions, which I had planned these at the beginning of March. I don't know when I'll go back to horse riding, but I know I will. The annoying thing is that all I have worked on, I still need to learn again.
Hopefully, I have MRI scans and physiotherapy, so I'll get better soon.
Arya and I are planning all the visits and making 100 calls.
