Recently working remotely has become very popular. Many people now prefer to work from home, because it's cost friendly, it's comfortable and very flexible. But for me I have a different opinion about working from home.
Working remotely offers one the opportunity to arrange things at their own pace with less pressure and a calm environment. For many people, expecially mothers it's is a very good option.Being able to work while still managing the home and children can make life easier.
However, working from home is not always as easy as it sounds. It requires a lot of self-discipline. When you are at home, there is no boss watching, no colleagues reminding you of deadlines, and no structured office environment. So the ability to stay focused and complete tasks depends entirely on your personal discipline.
Set for work.
I can only recommend working from home if you can stay consistent and complete your task without pressure. Then it's effective.
Personally, I would choose going to the office. Because overtime I have come to understand my self, I get bored easily when I stay in one place for too long. I start to feel too relaxed and sometimes unmotivated. The comfort of my home will make it harder for me to stay productive.
Interestingly, my anxiety also tends to increase when I stay at home too much. I begin to overthink things. But once I step outside and interact with people, my mood changes.
Being around people gives me energy.
When I go out, see people, I interact with them,i feel more motivated to complete my tasks. The movement, the conversations, and the general environment push me to be more productive.
For me, going to the office is not just about work.
It is also therapy.
The presence of other people and the change of environment helps my mind stay active and it encourages me to keep going.
Going to the office keeps me motivated and mentally balanced.
Productivity looks and feels different for everyone. Some people do better in the quiet comfort of their homes, while some of us perform better in more active environment.
