The Goal: To give a memorable Christmas for my family
This is always the goal. I play Santa to my family and relatives. I give gifts, cash, give money for food preparation and decoration, and host a simple program for my family.
Amount Needed: PHP 20000
I save money with specific amount. Last year the amount is PHP 50000 or $1000. I failed to meet that so I adjust my plan from time to time. I think I only able to get Php 28000.
My plan is to give cash gifts first. My mother, since she had waited for a year to receive it, I hope I can able to give her PHP 5000 or $100. Last year, I gave her the total of PHP 10000 because I have some extra from my other part time job. I don't expect myself to give her the same amount because I don't have that part time job anymore. I will also allot PHP 1000 for her gift.
To my siblings, I plan to give the two of them cash gift of PHP 2000 each and gift worth 500 each.
For my nephew, I will allot Php 2000 cash plus Php 1000 worth of gift.
All in all,the total is Php14000.
For food preparation, my sister will surely share for food so my share will be PHP 4000 both for Christmas and New Year.
For decoration, I can only give PHP 1000 and another PHP 1000 share for relatives as I know for this year my sister will give her share.
The total amount I need is PHP 20000, or $400.
You might be thinking, why do I give cash? It became a family beliefs to always leave a cash in your wallet. It is important that they have cash so that earning money will be lighter for them the next year. Also, I don't know specifically what they want as a gift. Having a cash could help them decided what they want to buy. I still have gifts for them and I make sure that these gifts will be very useful for them.
Goal 2: How to earn PHP 20000 or $400?
The money will come from my 13th month pay, plus from my blogging sites and my other online job. I make sure that besides that amount, I have something for myself and a saving to start for the New Year too.
From my 13th month pay, I will pay my insurance first and the remaining will divided by two. One is for the Christmas family goal and the other half is for me.
The earnings I get from two of my blogging sites will be added to the Christmas family goals. I need to work on my reputation on both blogging sites and I will make this Christmas family goal as my inspiration. Grecy, don't be lazy!
My overtime payments are not included for the family goals as it will be for my savings and my treat/gift to my best friends.
I will also give gifts to my pet, especially my daughter dog, Unnie.
Random Goal: Christmas package to street vendor
I did this way back 2018. It was a random project from the creative minds of my co-officemates. I only stop it during year 2020 because of the pandemic.The project we had last year was to donate load to online students and we did!!
For this year, as we have more lighter protocols, we plan to continue to give Grocery packs for street vendors. It will be their Noche Buena package. I don't know where I can get the money but I think I will just get it from my overtime pay. I will plan of doing overtime work for the budget. I don't have specific amount yet, but I will make a structure very soon.
My Objective
My objective is to have a happy and memorable Christmas for my loved ones. I don't have the riches, we only live in a simple house. I am just a below average earner but I have dreams. I will make it happen one day. Good memories are the only thing I can offer too. It is my legacy. I wish they will appreciate my love for them. I have been doing this every year, but this year will be a realistic amount that I can possible earn to make it happen.
I also want to make my mother happy, specially. My father passed away 2017,and she had been single parent for us. I know she is sad sometimes and life has been hard for her eversince. I cannot fill the hole, but me as a daughter, I will do my best to give all my love to her. I am lucky to have her in my life, a mother that is willing to sacrifice all of her just to save the family.
May this plan prosper and I make sure that this year will be again memorable. I am inviting my sissy
