Iniciativa: Concurso de la Comunidad Ladies Of Hive nro 267 // Ladies of Hive Community Contest #267

Hoy estoy una vez más compartiendo con ustedes desde la comunidad de Ladies Of Hive participando en su concurso semanal número 267. En esta ocasión tenemos un tema relacionado con la época navideña, así que estaremos respondiendo las preguntas que nos dejan y que siempre nos hacen reflexionar.

La época navideña es la temporada del año más linda, celebramos primeramente el nacimiento de nuestro salvador, pero también despedimos un año y le damos la bienvenida a uno nuevo, el cual trae consigo esperanza, sueños, proyectos, anhelos, entre otras cosas. Pero lamentablemente, hemos perdido la esencia de lo realmente importante que es compartir con nuestros seres queridos de una manera sana, le damos rienda suelta a cosas que no son tan buenas y nos olvidamos que lo que es diversión para nosotros es sufrimiento para otros.

Partiendo de este hecho, comienzo a responder la primera pregunta. Si pudieras hacer un regalo que tuviera un gran potencial para hacer el bien en estas fiestas, ¿Cuál sería, a quién se lo regalarías y por qué? Voy a aprovechar la oportunidad para comentar un sueño que siempre he tenido y que espero en algún momento se pueda materializar; se trata de una casa tipo granja que permita darle un hogar a una gran cantidad de perritos de la calle, sin embargo, creo que mi regalo para esta navidad sería un búnker para albergar allí la mayor cantidad de perritos que se ven afectados por la pirotecnia descontrolada de estas fechas.

Mientras nosotros le damos rienda suelta a nuestros deseos hay una parte de la población que no la pasa tan bien, ellos son los animales. Es una época muy dura para ellos, pero los seres humanos en su ignorancia no les importa el sufrimiento de ellos; muchos han muerto de infartos, atropellados por automóviles, se pierden y nunca sus dueños los vuelven a encontrar y los de la calle quienes no tienen donde refugiarse y les toca enfrentar solos esa terrible situación. Así que también quiero aprovechar este espacio para dejar una reflexión en contra del uso de pirotecnia, recuerda que la navidad también es ponerse en los zapatos del otro y los peluditos son parte importante del ecosistema y la sociedad.

Por otra parte, está la segunda pregunta, ¿Qué es lo que más te gusta disfrutar durante las fiestas navideñas y por qué? Esta es una pregunta muy fácil de responder, mi pasión por la comida me hace disfrutar de gran manera el plato navideño venezolano, que a mi parecer es el mejor y para mí la navidad comienza cuando degusto la primera hallaca. No obstante, también me gusta mucho de las fiestas navideñas el poder compartir con amigos y seres queridos, ya que definitivamente uno de mis lenguajes del amor es el tiempo de calidad y en esta época hay muchos momentos para salir, compartir y disfrutar.

Today, I am once again sharing with you from the Ladies Of Hive community, participating in their 267th weekly contest. This time, we have a theme related to the Christmas season, so we will be answering the questions you leave us, which always make us reflect.

The Christmas season is the most beautiful time of the year. We celebrate the birth of our savior, but we also say goodbye to one year and welcome a new one, which brings with it hope, dreams, projects, desires, among other things. Unfortunately, we have lost sight of the essence of what is truly important, which is sharing with our loved ones in a healthy way. We give free rein to things that are not so good and forget that what is fun for us is suffering for others.

Based on this fact, I will begin to answer the first question. If you could give a gift that had great potential to do good during the holidays, what would it be, who would you give it to, and why? I'm going to take this opportunity to talk about a dream I've always had and hope will come true someday: a farmhouse that can provide a home for a large number of stray dogs. However, I think my gift for this Christmas would be a bunker to shelter as many dogs as possible that are affected by the uncontrolled fireworks during this time of year.

While we give free rein to our desires, there is a part of the population that is not doing so well: animals. It is a very difficult time for them, but humans, in their ignorance, do not care about their suffering. Many have died of heart attacks, been hit by cars, or gotten lost and never been found by their owners. Those on the streets have nowhere to take refuge and must face this terrible situation alone. So I also want to take this opportunity to leave a reflection against the use of fireworks. Remember that Christmas is also about putting yourself in someone else's shoes, and our furry friends are an important part of the ecosystem and society.

On the other hand, there is the second question: What do you enjoy most during the Christmas holidays and why? This is a very easy question to answer. My passion for food makes me greatly enjoy the Venezuelan Christmas dish, which in my opinion is the best, and for me, Christmas begins when I taste the first hallaca. However, I also really like being able to share with friends and loved ones during the Christmas holidays, since one of my love languages is definitely quality time, and during this season there are many opportunities to go out, share, and enjoy.
