I know I'm still a young lady but then I believe there are still a few things I can teach to those that I'm younger than. As women, we always have to learn from one another and try as much as possible that some mistakes our older ones have made won't be the same mistakes we end up making. Learning from others experiences is one of the surest ways for anyone to save themselves from regrets and so in this blog, I'd be responding to the second question in the Ladies of hive weekly contest.
I didn't really get so much advise from my mother while growing up but then, I was quite smart enough to always stay around other people's mothers and Learn from them even as they advise their own female children. I most times act like I wasn't listening but then I make sure to take most of the advice that is been ditched out to whoever. I knew that it was best to Learn from others than learn from oneself, although some others think it's best to learn from their own experiences.
As a young lady, one thing that I believe we shouldn't do is putting ourselves out there in the unknown to learn from our own experiences. Being curious about everything is good but it has its own consequences that might be so unbearable when we are faced with it. Most Young ladies today have lost their pride as women and it was all due to how curious we can get.
Now in our world today, it's somehow absurd to many that a lady gets married to her husband as a virgin, the society has made it a norm for a lady to get married to her partner already loosed which is quite understandable for some. I've heard stories of little girls that I've been raped by their own parents and there is little or nothing that has been done.
This might not sound well to some of us but then, as ladies keeping ourselves till the day we get married should be a top priority but even as some of us have failed in that regards, we should be able to guide those who are looking up to us and still make sure to take good care of ourselves.
It is definitely something really hard to do in our world today and it's due to the peer pressure in our society. So many of us have fell victims of the bad company we keep and due to that fact, we've lost interest in helping other women save themselves from the same mistakes we've made. So many of us wished we had someone to guide us, so when we see someone that is willing to guide us on the right path, we should count ourselves lucky and heed to those counsels as much as we can.
Even if you've lost your virginity before marriage, that shouldn't be an excuse in anyway for you to misuse your body. Most times it's a mistake and the only way you can right your wrong is by keeping yourself better and not doing whatever you like with your body. We all make mistakes so we shouldn't fall victim of the voice in our head that tells us we are already used so why try to act unused (that's not a good voice so don't Listen to it).
Engaging in intimate activities can be quite risky because from what I've heard and learned, it's almost a journey of no return, so as much as you can as a young lady, do keep yourself until the day you are ready to settle down with your better half.
That's all for my advice and I really do hope it gets to the person that needs it, if any! Thanks to for the topic suggestion for this week's Ladies of hive contest.
