A Model Lady Cub (Art Practice)

Hello Wednesday!

The Zealy Campaign is still ongoing and one of the quests was this:

Draw/Design/Create an image of a role model Lion.

Participating in the LPUD means the Lion believes in the long term growth of Leo Finance. How would a Lion who just powered up a big amount of $LEO look like?

This task has been postponed for a while because of the most recent madness on the weekend. As I have indicated my commitment to fight hard for the Ladies of Hive community, I decided to do what I can during the whole campaign. This is one of the reasons why I'm not around much so please forgive me.🙏

Anyhow, I have with me my niece's pen tab which kind of made the job a little easier than when I was using the mouse.

And so yesterday afternoon, I got on with to the artwork task and started with this doodle.

As usual, I found a model lion for a concept that I had. This time, it would be a happy cub holding a tablet showing her LEO wallet. It's a "she" because why not, right? I have the Ladies in mind that's why.😍

Whilst editing the doodle, I noticed the hand pointing to the device was not looking "cub-like" so I had to summon my imagination which took a little while but came up with something okay.

Next was giving it colors. This was actually harder. I'm not that creative and I struggled on what tone to use. But went on with it anyway.

More edits. I used the pencil mode as I found it more subtle as opposed to the Brush, Crayon or Paint and any other feature on the app I was using. I have a lot of learning to do for sure!

The head as done and next was the body. I forgot to take screenshots of the process while I had it colored but this was the outcome. The husband came home with some guests so I had to stop and attend to them.

This morning, I decided to change the body color to a dark tone. I feel the yellow was too bright. So on with the editing when our guests have left.

After that I did some final touches on the cub's claws and the other things. The arm looks a bit odd so I did some trimming. Also changed the color on the ears and gave the body a little retouch.

And here's my final piece. A happy, dedicated cub in the lion's den who is just chuffed to have made a contribution to the Leo Power Up Day (LPUD) and will do the same thing every 15th of the month to keep growing her stacks.

I have forgotten to add the LoH and LeoFinance logo but many thanks to sis Jane for bringing it out to my attention through her comment. So I did a little correction on that and here's the edited version.
