Hi hiverss!!! This is Gelaii and back it again for another blog, for today I will share with you my PAGEANT JOURNEY.
As what I've said in my previous blog, I really want to be a model but before that I need to join pageants to create my name and also to boost my confidence to face a lot of people. I need to join pageants so that someone can discover me and guide me in the pageant industry.
My first ever pageant was here in our Purok (which is were I currently living). It was a impromptu way of joining because my sister told me that we will have a fiesta here in our Purok, and she wanted me to join and I agreed as a joke but I didn't know that she was serious that time, to my surprise my name is already in the list of the finalists in the said event. Aside from that my sister is also a pageant enthusiast, she joined in different barangays and she even won here in our Purok, maybe that's the reason why she also wanted me to join.
And then, when the event came, I won as a second runner up. At first, I can't believe it because it was my first time and I already have a title. I know I didn't won but for me being the second runner up was already a big deal for a first timer in that industry.
I even get the best in talent which is I dance that day. And I have 
My second pageant was in my school which is in Bacolod City College (BCC). We have here in our campus that all women need to audition to represent our departments. I really don't want to join because that moment we're busy doing school stuffs and also exam is coming so I don't want to get distracted in every little way as possible. But I don't have a choice because the former president of our department grabbed me to audition, she said I have a very big potential to represent our department. And yes they picked me as one of the representative to represent my department because the Taculing Campus wants to have candidates to represent every department so that they can choose the best among the two. And when that day came, as what I expected they picked me to represent my department with the same opinion that I have a high potential when it comes to pageantry.
Later on, the team who handled the event set a date to shoot for our social media photos to post and to announce the official candidates of every department.
After that, we also did a video shoot in Magikland, an amusement park located at Consolacion Road, Silay Negros Occidental, it was all covered by the AUXTREME agency where I am modeling now.
And finally the event came, I won as your Ms. BCC 2nd runner up, and Globe ambassador, best in evening gown, Ms. Congeniality and to be honest it was a nerve-wracking moment because there's a lot of people watching and also my friends was there to support me all through out.
And by the way, do you know whose my make up artist and hairstylist? No other than the one and only
And a little trivia, I'm the one who broke the record in my department to be the first who got second runner up title, not to boost around, but it was really a very overwhelming feeling and grateful at the same time.
And last my recent pageant was, Ms. Young Sugarlandia where all of my competitions are all veteran when it comes to pageant, we are 10 candidates and my number was 7, they said it was a lucky number but for me it's not because I didn't make it to top 3 but that experience was very wholesome I met a lot of genuine people who has different advocacies that they want to implement awareness to all people and used the pageant platform to make it possible.
