It's a really controversial topic, because unfortunately, the countries where this happens most frequently are precisely those with less education and greater social inequality. Therefore, I think the ideal solution would be to strengthen education and improve the economy so that everyone is sufficiently informed and can make an independent decision when voting. Hugs
