Every end of the year we evaluate how our performance has been, wanting to check ✅ our achievements. Many times there is no check on the original wish list because we are beings with free will and on the fly, we have realized that it is easier to follow another path, that the best opportunity is in the opposite direction, that our dream was utopian or that there are not the resources to follow.

However, this does not mean that we have not achieved things. On the contrary, if we have advanced in other ways, we have made the path by walking, and for that, I am grateful for all that I have achieved so far.

It seems like a simple play on words, but it is not; it is because of the maturity that comes from knowing ourselves and our surroundings during our life's journey.

I believe in the ability as a human being to renew myself and grow in adversity (Resilience)

So in retrospect my year 2022 has been full of surprises, I worked only 4 months, but I managed to do for free a diploma that I had not scheduled, I attended four conferences in higher education, improved my English was rusty, and I did a diploma as a real estate consultant ... definitely my work motivates me.

I felt the unconditional love of my daughters in every possible way. Most of all, I worked all year to nurture my marriage and honor my husband as he deserves. I am blessed to have my parents alive, 84 and 86 years old, physically living in another country, every day I feel them closer in my heart, I have them present in my day-to-day life, they are my engine.

Many projects are underway, others are unfinished

Family is family and there is nothing more valuable or comforting after so many things lived and faced, than enjoying a rich sharing, even if it is virtual, taking advantage of the benefits of technology. We have years apart physically because we are scattered around the world... Family Celebration technology.

I keep positive, I accept and assume the challenges with what I can de-dramatize, and understand even more what makes me vulnerable, hope and illusion have awakened my creativity and the gift of my talents.

Even though many projects are unfinished, which did not depend only on me, they are on hold. The year is not over yet, I have some things to do, but I think I should feel grateful.

I am a living example of tenacity, perseverance, testing and proving that achievements are not in the movies or comics and that they do exist in real life. Gloating over the nice things is easy, the hard part is to recognize the defeats and grow from them instead of sitting and licking the wounds. That is why I do not count any defeat as such.

I am convinced that the road is to look at ourselves, think about ourselves, value ourselves, investigate ourselves, accept ourselves, know ourselves, and recognize ourselves in the successes and failures that teach us so much.

But at the end of this year 2022, I have to be THANKFUL FOR LIFE and the health of myself and our loved ones, thank those of us who still have a job, and thankful because all this that I have lived, has made me stronger to never lose hope, that precious gift from the Father because without it there would be no sense in living. Here is an example that it is possible, and I am standing up to move forward.

I would love to be reincarnated in a cat, really, for whatever is useful to the cat for the moment it has to live.

Because, As a baby, they are strong and healthy, cute or ugly, it doesn't matter, everyone loves them the same, in puberty, they are physically pleasant, curious, learn everything quickly and empathize with their owners, as teenagers they are attractive, shrewd, agile and captivating, and as adults, they are soft, beautiful and loving to be pampered.

And let the cat be the one to keep its owners as pets! ha, ha, ha! Cats have several lives according to popular saying!
