It is a tradition in our city that flower compositions are exhibited in the city every year at Pentecost. The best florists can take part in it once the plans have been judged. There were only 6 such flower decorations this year because the museum on Fő utca ("Main Street) is being rebuilt and a fairly large portion of the street is occupied by the construction area.
Less is more, so floral compositions are also of higher quality than in recent years. With so many people downtown, it’s pretty hard to take photos. Of course, everyone takes photos of the flowers and makes selfies. Some people hated when I ventured too close to the flowers and disturbed the selfie-makers. I just smiled kindly, without a mask, of course. Yesterday it was even mandatory to wear a mask outside (I have never followed this rule, for I am able to become invisible), today it is no longer mandatory, but many wear it out of habit and fear.
