It's funny how most of us are completely oblivious to children's conversations. Like, completely. We see them playing, running around, being loud but we don't really listen. Turns out, these kids have the best and most interesting conversations. They talk about everything. Their friends, life, random jokes, random questions we don't expect. It's not just noise.
This weekend, I was washing with my niece at home, and my auntie's kids came around, they are all around the same age. They came around to help her, and I was just there, quietly washing, lost in my own thoughts. Zero attention on them.

Then something pulled me in. I don't know what. But I started listening to what they were saying. And wow. They talked about their friends. They talked about Ramadan. They argued about little things, then laughed about them seconds later. Having the best time, completely unaware that I was right there, catching every word. It was like I didn't exist to them and honestly? That made it even better. I don't know what I was expecting 😂 but I had just never been so interested in kids convos. Silly little conversations. Pure, unfiltered, and so real.
Whoever thought kids' conversations would be this interesting? Next time you find yourself around children, pause and pay a little attention. You might just be amazed.
