Some days just open up with the most unluckiest things. You woke up and saw your drool on your face, gets scolded because the cat suddenly want to snuggle with you and now the cat smells like your spit. Everything was unintentional but somehow, some way, the universe feels like they find a way to annoy you and you just know that his is going to be a bad day.
Bad Day
Some days begin without a spark,
The light feels thin, the air feels dark.
Something broke, the day felt long
It's one of those days where everything's wrong.
The smallest noise can press too loud,
A passing face becomes a crowd.
Words that mean no harm at all,
Suddenly took as if you want them to fall.
Coffee cools before a sip,
One small step, then you slip.
Even simple, easy things
feel hard and forgotten rings.
You try to shake it, breathe it out,
Call it stress or passing doubt.
You tell yourself, "It will be fine,
Just give it space, just give it time."
But moods can't seem to be the same,
You didn't do it but you're to blame.
Things linger like a unwanted guest,
Refusing to leave or even rest.
Maybe it fades by late afternoon,
Maybe it hums after hearing a tune.
Maybe it would be okay,
if you just wait for the next day.
So when the weight hangs in the air,
And everything seems unfair,
Just take a deep breath and say,
"I had a bad day."
