Imagine if you were able to do anything you want. No fear of consequence. No need for funding. Nothing else to think of and you have the freedom to do anything you want or be anyone you want. Would you wreak havoc and be bad or will you be a saint and keep doing good? This is a funny thought I had when, believe it or not, I finally fixed a problem I am having for a week, my new tablet not charging properly.
What Would You Do If You Can Do Anything You Want?
If every door were open wide,
No rules to break, no need to hide,
If chains fell off without a sound,
And no one asked you to stay bound.
If fear dissolved into the air,
No heavy doubt, no cautious care.
If failure held no strings within,
What daring dream would you begin?
Would you chase sunsets out of town,
Or turn everyone's frown upside down?
Would you speak truths you never said,
Or let out the storms inside your head?
Would you forgive who hurt you in the past,
Release the weight you held at last?
Would you rebuild, redraw, restart,
All the past mistakes with open heart?
If time itself would step aside,
Would you move towards your goals and glide?
Would you move slow or finally run,
If you can do anything under the sun?
Would you create art without grace,
Paint every wall, reshape your space?
Would you become who you once knew,
Before the world decided who is you?
If judgment vanished from the room,
No watchful eyes or hint of doom,
Would you laugh out loud without restraint,
when you can't receive anyone's complaint?
And if you truly could be free,
Frolicking, dancing, wild with glee.
When nothing stands to block your way.
What would the real you choose to do today?
