Hello everyone and welcome to my blog. This is my participation to the #ladiesofhive weekly contest and the topic by . There is a lot to choose from but let me talk about this.
Intimate partner violence: Intimidation, threats, or verbal abuse. Expand on what you know or how you deal with this matter considering almost one-in-every-four homes appears to suffer silently.
Verbal abuse is something that kills the victim silently. It is always inform of emotional abuse, using threat or an insult to gain control over the other, sometimes the abuser use silent to manipulate their victims.
Many victims of verbal abuse will not think they are being abuse because there is no physical wound, but the consequences of verbal abuse is really harmful.
It usually started when the two were alone but always increase gradually when the other is two weak to do anything, they feel helpless and doesn't want to expose what is happening to them outside and when the abuser see this, they use it to their advantage and most of the time, verbal abuse usually lead to physical abuse.
The abuser will use the same word that they know that makes their victims feel so worthless, feel inferior or unwanted and it takes a lot of things from them.
It happens when a man married a lady who is slim with a great body. She was so beautiful with great body figure when they first marry but with time, after given birth to the first, second and third child her body shape change. The man did not like the change and started to use it as a form of abuse to the lady.
He will always say I thought I married a goddess, who knows you will turn to a pig when you get to my house I should have known better when your mother was so fat and can't even carry her body, I should have never marry someone like you, I deserve better and that word alone can make a woman go insane.
Some women who cannot take such abusive word will turn violent and some will be crying silently without letting anyone know what they are passing through. This thing happens a lot in many home but not all get to share their story because not many survived it.
I hate to be blame for what i know nothing about and I hate been insulted so I understand very well how it feels like to be verbally abused.
Thanks for checking on my blog and have a wonderful day
